I don't think it does. His statement again:

...states with tighter gun control laws have fewer gun-related deaths.

The Harvard article does not differentiate between gun related and non-gun related homicides. The authors, on multiple occasions, make the point that conclusive evidence is lacking to show a correlation between restrictive gun laws and homicide & suicide rates. They don't specifically address crimes committed with a firearm.

Sometimes I wonder, but with that huge yet fragile ego I'm guessing he can't help but look.  It's part of his eight hours of daily show prep - somewhere between lunch and looking for doomed animal stories on the internet.

It probably bottles up for a couple months then eventually bubbles over.  The cycle may go something like this:  boil over and mention on the air, feel better for awhile, read again and laugh about it, poke fun at the posters with his staff, tell himself  it doesn't matter, tell himself he doesn't care, blow off steam with Tommy, send another email to the PremRat lawyers, boil over again..

I have a sneaky suspicion that Noory peruses this site more than we think. He's such a small minded simpleton with such a fragile ego that I'll bet he fumes at us on an almost daily basis.
