Boring, Normal Guests

Started by DangerousBlossom, October 20, 2011, 01:41:56 AM

Am I the only one who can’t stand the current (10-19-11 to 10-20-11) guest, Carla Wills-Brandon?  Supposedly the topic is deathbed visions, but talk about “Oprah After Dark”!  So far she has talked about being AA, toxic families, her relatives who died in the Holocaust, bad personal relationships, etc., etc.  Plus endless plugging of “her practice.”  Has she even mentioned a deathbed vision???  Sounds like a very run of the mill grief counselor.  Not even slightly paranormal and dull, dull, dull.  Maybe the folks who complain about guests being too “crazy” will like her.  Personally, I prefer wild and crazy.

Can we please add the EVP people to this list? Although I suppose normal, the old woman of the evp duo has to be one of the dullest, boneheaded, and boring guest one could ever dread to interview. At least so in my opinion.
I don't listen to Noory so I can't offer a vaild opinion on the Wills-Brandon guest.
I am always a little dubious of women that use the - so I'll take your word for it.

Tara

I remember Ann Blake Tracy; Art used to have her on his show.  She was against anti-depressives and believed they were behind many violent juvenile crimes, i.e., Columbine, etc.  The problem with this woman is that she talked in this drab, semi-comatose manner.  You'd swear that SHE needed the anti-depressives.  Callers even mentioned this to her, but she just couldn't give an ounce of enthusiasm to her voice.

Can't stand them. Half the time the "EVP" sounded like an Air Jordan in a washing machine. The other half is sounded like Chevy Vega running out of gas.

The EVP clowns make the "subliminal messages in music" nuts look good by comparison.

Judy Wood was the worst kind of boring for me; not only was she incredibly drab (yet by listening to her waffle, it felt like someone was pushing forks into your ears), but she was always right. The sort of person whom, as a kid, can't have had many friends. Whenever anyone offered friendship, she was the type who'd immediately put them off with her know-it-all correctional attitude.

Basically, to her, everything is a dick measurement contest - and she wins every time, of course.

She screams low self-esteem.

Here are opinions of CoastCanuck.  Dr. Judy Wood is difficult to listen to as I feel she doesn't communicate orally that well.  I've also listened to her on Youtube and feel the same conclusion.  However, I read her book 'Where did the Towers Go?' and I found that such a compelling book, I couldn't put it down.  It was an amazing, well written book and it convinced me of my beliefs about 9-11.
