So as we know supposedly Hillary lost with working-class whites because they're racist (apparently an 8-year delayed reaction to Obama) ... but I just heard a left-leaning source say yesterday the reason white women specifically didn't turn out as expected is they're unconsciously misogynists.

I believe the latest talking point is that many women "self-internalized misogyny and sexism" and so didn't vote for Hillary. The DNC and the left need to come up with bizarre psychological theories to explain everything that doesn't fit into their plan or is at odds with whatever wacky beliefs they hold.

Be patient. He's deporting 2 million in the first hour in January.

If Trump was being halfway practical, he would take serious steps to ensure due process when targeting people who may deserve deportation versus others in the minority communities who would likely end up being "collateral damage." Unfortunately, he says he plans to target the "criminals" first and only then figure out what to do about what I suppose he'd call the non-criminals. That approach would ramp up fear and opposition and increase the number of mistakes made.

The vagueness of all this combined with a very aggressive deportation effort by federal agencies will, I can foresee, result in not just a lack of cooperation by many local and state officials but some showdowns between federal and local law enforcement, each of which will have different priorities with different marching orders.

Places like Arizona, where many local sheriffs will be happy to assist in the mass deportation effort, will likely be the exception, not the rule. "Sanctuary cities" will be just one group of places where feds and locals face off over various legal, jurisdictional and policy differences.

Trump's efforts will have to be much more aggressive to get the results his supporters are looking for. That won't be simple or easy as a practical matter. Trump supporters are expecting things in America to be very different with the new administration and I think they will be -- for better and/or worse.
