All I know is that on "Star Trek, Next Generation" they've eliminated money, have almost unlimited energy available and can synthesize food and other things just by pressing a button. Plus, getting around is easy with the transporter. People still seem to stay busy and focused with various jobs even though I assume they're not being paid as we would understand getting paid..

I've always been curious about the transition period, however, from the economies we have now to the "economy" or social order they'll have in the 23rd century. That would be interesting to witness. Technology will continue to have an astonishing effect on society.

if we could just invent the transtator (a doodad that is the basis of every other hunk of Starfleet tech).
the Lotians snagged one. when do we get our "piece of the action"?  8)

It doesn't bother anyone that every politician has to suck the nuts of the jews and israel during every election cycle?

At least he isn't financially supporting adult male muslim pedophiles to rape 10 year old child brides, like you and your fellow Canadians.

Not sure what that has to do with you financially supporting adult male muslim pedophiles raping, abusing, and torturing 10 year old child brides in Canada.

The problem is that Star Trek got the timeline wrong.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technological_singularity

We will hit the Von Neumann singularity sometime around 2030-2045. After that point, we will rapidly exceed the technology envisioned by Star Trek within a very short period of time. Technological development is exponential, rather than linear as Trek envisioned.

You're already witnessing the transition from a classical economy to a future economy through the advent of factory automation.

The difference is that I, as a Trump supporter, wholeheartedly disavow KoK's abhorrent racism and anti-Semitism. He discredits our movement with that archaic bullshit. It's bad enough that we have the media casting aspersions, we don't need fringe people out trying to confirm it for them when it isn't true.

i like Donald Trump.

random thoughts:

i do wonder how he really intends to run a "business" full of "employees" hired by someone else. if elected, he will have the job of first knitting together a body of people that not only oppose each other, but will (together) oppose him.

i would like to know his ideas on who he is going to pick to fill critical roles in his administration.

as for building a wall to stem the tide of illegal immigration, i have always thought the enforcement of existing law on the matter was all the "wall" needed. if it helps to deal with the corruption in Mexico with some sort of sanctions, maybe we should clean up our own house first.

what would happen if Trump actually addressed the protesters at his rallies with a solution to their concerns. can't make America Great without America United. although i must say that i don't think those protesters have expressed much more than noise (except for a few) to get someone to punch them. you can't just say when elected it's my way and fuck the rest of you.

i don't believe the "economy" can be fixed without first dumping the federal bloat and its' spending. will Trump refuse the top office salary? would anyone in elected office follow suit if he did? maybe if people just stopped wanting much more than they needed? not sure if anyone running for election could sell that one.  ;D

i dunno about any of this really. i don't listen to American "MSM", it makes me want to vomit. i do follow what the candidates say, have studied their bios, know of their political philosophy (in or out of politics) and find out what i can of what they have been like as a person.

SciFi flipper dude is right. Trump is a wildcard. when i look at the cards i've been dealt for this election cycle, i see only one high card in a marked deck. i guess i'm one of those that is tired of the same ol' bs in politics.

It's clear that vapid harpy is the one violated law and assaulted The Donald.

She needs to learn boundaries and not violate people's space.

I say insert hooks into her breasts and let her hang, similar to A Man Called Horse.

Let her hang outside of any Trump rallies in the future as a warning.

The artist formerly known as Junior Jimi has already admitted, in no uncertain terms, how he would treat women who displease him, so it's difficult to take his selective outrage seriously.

Isn't it also a problem that Trump is himself attracting these elements with so many of his statements? These people are more comfortable coming out in the open since Trump has been doing his rants on foreigners and minorities. And in spite of being archaic, there are still plenty of them around.

Poll numbers in a general election this early mean nothing. Most people have no clue Sanders is a Socialist.

A good speech but I'm not sure where he is going with it toward the end and the "Jewish baby" bit struck me as a bit weird. And why it is necessary? I don't think American politics, or even our foreign policy, should be so weighted to follow only one, small country's agenda. Sure they are our ally, when not spying on us, but, to me it is a bit bizarre. Can anyone imagine any other country where American politicians have to go hat-in-hand and speak to their lobbyists and make statements about defending their foreign land and religion- sometimes in even more strident terms than when they talk about defending the USA? Even England, with our 'special relationship,' doesn't demand such pledges of allegiance by candidates. Interesting also that Bernie didn't show up to speak, and he is Jewish (though, I guess, secular and non-practicing.)

I particularly enjoyed the part where he said "nobody has studied the Iran deal more than me" Crowd reaction: Laughter. In other words, "yeah, sure, Donald ::)"

Clinton beats him in nearly equal fashion.

And, I suppose one could argue that an equal number of people have no clue that Trump is a pathological liar and not particularly bright.

Bernie attracts the most violent and racist people to his camp also. You never hear of Hillary supporters smacking horses and threatening to kill people based on political beliefs. Its always the Bernouts starting shit and causing trouble good thing most of them are to young to vote.

The media has been screaming bloody murder about trump for nearly a year now. I think people have heard the medias opinion on Trump.

Right, he is not particularly bright.  Okay.  We get it.

Keep continuing with such great insight you acquired from being a military welfare queen.

Trump was right about Brussles in this interview from Jan 2016.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/28/world/europe/trump-finds-new-city-to-insult-brussels.html?_r=1

“There is something going on, Maria,” he said. “Go to Brussels. Go to Paris. Go to different places. There is something going on and it’s not good, where they want Shariah law, where they want this, where they want things that â€" you know, there has to be some assimilation. There is no assimilation. There is something bad going on.”

Warming to his theme, he added that Brussels was in a particularly dire state. “You go to Brussels â€" I was in Brussels a long time ago, 20 years ago, so beautiful, everything is so beautiful â€" it’s like living in a hellhole right now,” Mr. Trump continued.

The Belgians being the islamicucks they are started a hashtag #hellhole to mock Donald Trump.

Whelp........

qaddisin

I figure if Trump is having the success that he is, Gary Busey really should consider running for public office.

albrecht

Clearly the solution to the problem is the policy of Obama, Billary, or Bernie and import more illegals, immigrants, and "refugees," especially Muslim into our country also. Redistribute the violence and mayhem.

Oh looks Muslims are terrorist losers, proved again in Belgium.

Or
Like Hilary and Barrack says just let them all in the country.

The only reason Ted Cruz has gotten so far and the media paid so little attention to him, is because he is standing behind the huge shield of Trump.

If Trump wasn't in the race and Ted Cruz was the presumptive nominee, the full force and time of the media would be looking at him and reporting on him.

this is all true, and you can repeat it until you're blue in the face, but the cruz fans aren't having any of it.
