Yeah, I quit smoking when I was 30 and I swore I'd never become one of those ex smokers who you hear bitching about other peoples smoke but I got to the he point where I couldn't hack it in a poorly ventilated space.  There was no judgement of smokers involved but I did avoid that situation when I had the option.  Other kinds of smoke don't bother me so much.
I never was a smoker, aside from the stolen ones as a kid experimenting with friends etc, and never complained. Until older and was struck with the difference of waking up and clothes just being IN bars etc with heavy smoke. I agree with your other comment, though there is some recent controversy here about some local establishments....smoking meats all day nearby housing and etc. Sort of funny. It smells, and tastes great, but would YOU really like some guy constantly smoking briskets and the smells going into your condo or house? I recall a neighbor getting pissed, years ago, when I was burning brush and he had his system on. Ha! (I, as always, had checked no fire-ban and told local FD that I was doing a burn. Screw you, yuppie. I was within my rights!

You seem to be happy being a commonwealth cuck. Shouldn't you be working yourself into a lather over the next royal baby though?!  ???
That  really does not address the question.  Has Trump managed to make America great again, or will it take another decade to pull it out of the boiling pits of sewage that the Clintons and Obama's plunged it neck deep into?  :P

He's making it great again...if he could get his fucking daughter and son-in-law out of the way.  ;)

So you're a Canadian, right?
I'm too  ashamed to answer that.  ::)

Like I said- it is a good policy.  The generals who have seen combat and spend their days doing nothing by contemplating defense of the country and how to protect it should be the ones who make decisions rather than somebody who cannot find Syria on a map.

I just see Trump as somebody who will brag about his decision if it turns out well, and somebody who will claim that his is not to blame for any of the parts that do not go well.  I don't blame him- he is a politician now and how better to keep looking good.

I live in a part of FL where there are a lot of brush fires this time of year.  When there is the merest smell of smoke in the air it's treated by some like a catastrophe and you see a lot of people running around with face masks.  You may be old enough to remember when most people heated their homes wth wood or cold burning furnaces and kerosene burners were considered leading edge.  On a winters day there was always the smell of smoke or fumes in the air yet somehow we survived.  Of course I'm happy that the air quality has improved but I would hate to see what might happen if some of these folks had to rough it for a while as might happen if the grid went down due to a man-made or natural EMP.

As mentioned before, at sometimes at length  ;), I have mixed views on the various whistleblowers, traitors, hackers, etc. Some seem to go "too far" and do seem to be against our country (of course if one buys into our country already being taken over etc this could be a plus,) some seem honest and tried to do the "right thing" was was prevented, and other seems to have odd foreign entanglements and backgrounds, but, sometimes, even then, if the information is useful for the public? The one thing that I don't like about wikileaks is that they always seem to be going after only Western countries, particularly ours. Now, this could be a language issue, but why if some (not all) hackers are from former Eastern Bloc areas, and Assange has that weird cult upbringing, which one could go down a rabbit hole on. And like when Anonymous threatened, targeted cartels but QUICKLY backed off once some bloggers got iced sliced. Why these hackers, leakers, whistleblowers, etc never going after China, Iran, the Mafia, Russia, Israel, N.Korean, Cartels, various Arab despots, etc? Always US, or Western countries? (Asides from a few Fonseca stuff that involved some Russians, Cypriots, Turks, etc) I still withhold judgement, but it is odd that the 'targets' and 'leaks' are mainly US or Western/NATO countries.

Obama's government was trying to ban all kinds of wood and coal burning stoves. I'm not sure, not needed here  ;) but many places up north one might have or at your deer camp etc. It is crazy. I've heard a few years ago Savage ranting that California wouldn't even let you burn in your fireplace? Not sure that is true but I can believe it. We, here, have many fires and there are rightful restrictions during certain periods but, then again, you can also have a BBQ pit lit on your trailer and take those nice smoking meats to your football tailgate!

I still have not seen evidence that things are submitted about China and not published.

Also, I wonder if part of the reason is that they are exposing the problems in countries which hold themselves out as examples?  I do not think that there would be even a tiny bit of shock among Russians or the Chinese that they live under a very corrupt system with politicians who are in it for themselves and all kinds of backroom deals happen.  Where in the west, we (blindly) believe that we are "above" that and it still holds a tiny bit of "shock" value.

The Chinese do not require a wikileaks to know that their system is broken and rigged...

Yeah that's right.  Living in Texas you wouldn't have experienced stretches where the high temperature never made it out of the teens or twenties but you can believe there was a whole lot of fuel of all types being burned from October through April where I came from and the air could get pungent if not smokey.  I don't recall it being a problem or even noticing it much though.

Good point that, I think, you've mentioned before and appreciated. Many in those countries know/accept the "system." I recall the Russians even have a term for it on a basic level- a "roof" (translated") I think. Also, like when "Anons" were going to go after Cartels it could also be we are much more "nice" if people are caught? Or, putting it out here, lots of "stuff" is faked and internal politics and disinfo even?

Hmmm.  We still agree.  I have no doubt that wikileaks has been used by people and organizations not "friendly" to the west.  Just the same, I am happy that there are outlets that will print everything and allow people to decide for themselves rather than filter it all and spin it for us.

Yeah.  I caught that the other day.  I wonder how much detective work it would take to find out who's kid has MS or some other shit that would be covered by Ocare and not the Repubcare.  I don't trust pols.  Anybody that wants to be a politician sucks cock by choice.

The suck factor would be off-scale.  I had a taste of it after Hurricane Charley when power was out for two weeks.  After two days without a/c in August we had to retreat north. My pioneer spirit failed me.

No power equals no gas, think the estimates are 75 to 90% of the population would be gone in a year.

I was sent these. Thought I'd share. From an anti anti science protest last weekend in southern England I think, but some obviousily arent. (They be dragons)

And you have to admit, this is pretty funny.

I don't doubt that estimate.  There  would be small enclaves or pockets where the survival rate would be much higher--probably rural areas where clean water could be found, fish and game were availabe, gardens could be grown, wood for fuel, etc. People in large urban areas would be well and truly screwed.  Some preppers would be okay if they coulld protect their provisions from human scavengers.  It sure would change our priorities in life.

That will explain why the FBI, both houses, and now the Pentagon are investigating Flynn and others. The laughing stock aspect comes in because Trump sends Spicer out to try and spin a silk purse from a sow's ear when he's presented with awkward questions.

Okay, it's funny--kinda like The Ruptured Chinaman by by Wun Hung Lo or The Tiger's Revenge by Claude Balls. Juvenile but funny.
