I'm surprised with such a prestiguous show they can't find better hosts.  I let my sub go in August but came back for Knapp & Punnitt and even that has been cut back.  I know its only $7 but think I'll dump it again when it runs out.  THIS SHOW SHOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER!

The first time I heard him was when he interviewed that Satanist fellow, I don't remember his name. It was a pretty enjoyable show.

Since then I've listened several more times to him, and he and his guests are just unbearable. All they do is disparage liberals and agree with each other about how liberals and non-christians are evil, etc. One spews a lie, the other confirms it. Just like Fox News.

Yeah, that interview with Winter Laake. That was a great show and I was actually somewhat impressed with Mr. Wells at that time. I was excited to hear a new voice and thought he handled himself well. But John lost me the very next weekend and every time I listen I'm a little more turned off. I wish he and Knapp would switch slots.

Starting to change my opinion.  He had the numbers lady on (another guest all of you hate) and he was actually asking intersting questioned.  Glynis was probably suprised to actually be on 3 hours since Noory just asks her dumb questions and head nods.  He's no Ian but starting to not hate his shows so much.

Of course in my perfect world Knapp & Ian would be on all the time.

Nice enough guy,great voice,but I was listening to C2C a few nights back and he was interviewing two great guests about the OKC Bombings and instead of asking the guests questions to extract facts on why the official accounts didnt pass the smell test on OKC,he just kept rambling on about how "THEY" are out to withhold us from the truth.  Whoever the "THEY" is,is anybodys guess.I understand that there are powers that be who only look out for their own interests,but there is a time and place for that!What was more unfortunate was the guests James Lane and Holland V. only had one hour and really didnt get a chance to really explain why the accounts of the OKC attacks were never legit.But they gave the "Numbers Lady" three full hours,WTF!Anyways,whenever a host is on C2C I at least expect for the host,whoever it is,to ask RELEVANT questions and not nebulous commentary.Thanks and peace...

Entirely correct and welcome to the choir.  The consensus is pretty much like this over in the general "John B. Wells" thread.
Wells is an ideologically-interested player, and more like "whacked-out guest" material himself, not an "objective interviewer" at all,  at least when it comes to the right-wing nuttery.   Nothing new there.
As far as the formatting, and giving that dumb-ass hack "Numbers Lady" three hours; dig: anything the current crew of "Coast" CAN screw up, they WILL screw up.   As you might put it: anything they CAN do to make it "unlistenable," they WILL do.

A Knapp roundtable on the JFK assassination and a couple others.  Ian on evidence for Bigfoot, Sonny Bono's "assassination," Dr. Mary's Monkey Virus, the Black Dahlia, and one of my recent favorites, Charles A. Lindbergh Jr., the guy who claims to be Lucky Lindy's kidnapped son. 

I realize this perfect world can't last forever, but it's been a nice fantasy world while it's lasting.

I actually love the guy.  As far as I am concerned, he is giving captain Noory a run for his money in the race to the bottom.  You see, I feel that Coast is dead.  The more they put Wells on the sooner it will become apparent to all that it is time to pull the plug.  Once my local station drops him they can play something interesting and useful during the night hours.  Perhaps one long 5 hour emergency broadcast system test each night?

Listening to Wells for a few short bursts this evening has reminded me why my radio remains silent many nights.

Wells is my least favorite Coast host by far, he reads from a script it seems, a short script for that matter ! And he comes off as far right sometimes, not so much the centrist he claims to be.

Noory takes great pride in not knowing a thing about the subject, not listening, not preparing.  The cue cards are there for George to use to interrupt, confuse, try to make the guests lose their train of thought, ensure they aren't able to finish making their points, and turn the conversation to be about George, 

I've never listened to Wells, but I'd be surprised if he could even be less prepared than George Nobody.

I wonder that "training" is a B.A. from South-South Eastern Florida University or a membership of the John Galt Organization for Abolishing Society?

Well, back to basics tonight.

I figured that I would give it a shot tonight as well and tuned in part way through the show.  After listening to Wells and his guest have a mutual masturbation session where they slammed Americans as sleeping through things as well as being generally dumb and disinterested I gave up.  Oh, I agree that there are a lot of people paying far too much attention to Paris Hilton (or whoever is the latest craze) and not enough attention to things that matter.  However, Wells seems to think that anybody who looks at the world and does not reach the same conclusion as him is stupid and asleep.  His style reminds me of every talk radio host that I hate.

I tried tuning into George at some point last week for his restoring the U.S show.  With a title like that I almost expected Glenn Beck to be the guest host.  It is like they have just decided to sell out completely and are not even bothering to hide it anymore.  I will bet that withing the next 5 years it will become just a late night political talk show...
