At the end of the show, he destroyed any credibilty he may have built up by going off into a rant about how a new Ford Escape can get 300 miles per gallon with a 'tweak' of the engine computer module and addition of an 'evaporation carburetor', and any car can get 200-250 MPG by adding the carburetor (which you can build for $50). Total horseshit. Wells was imitating Noory and didn't ask this clown if he got 250 MPG in his own car, and if not, why not.
Every time I hear that claim I have to agree with the person making the claim- it is completely possible to get up to 500mpg with a special carburetor.  There is, in my mind, a reason that you need to add an old technology such as a carburetor to a fuel injected vehicle...  You simply add a propane tank and a carb capable of running propane and voila!  You will never use gas again and can claim that you use 1 gallon of gas per week (possibly to start it in cold temperatures.)

Talk about nut jobs.  One of tonight's guests, on UN Agenda 21, is from the John Birch Society.  I thought Goldwater had killed off the Birchers.  This is a real back to the 60s moment.

Liberty Lobby guests can't be far off. I'll bet my Wallace/LeMay '68 bumper stickers on that.

AFAIC, Saturday Night C2C is no more. Wells' psychotic politics poisoned it.

Up thread I said that Wells was growing on me. I take that back. The Bircher and the Century 21 paranoia fest last night killed it for me forever. Far as I'm concerned, Wells drove the Saturday night ship right into the ground. If I want to hear paranoid nut jobs, there are plenty to choose from here in NY at more convenient hours.  ::)

LOL. Now that was quite the team.

95% of Wells' shows are crap, political paranoia and other assorted conspiracy bric-a-brac. Once in a while he does a show that interests me and that I can stomach listening to.

But I think we need to stop being so excited when he does have a good one. It's the exception and not the rule unfortunately.

What's with all this paranoid, conspiracy stuff???  It's bad enough we have to tolerate third-rate hosts.  C2C is most entertaining to me when it's paranormal-oriented.  I want some entertaining escape, not more depressing "the-world-is-going-to-get-me stuff."  :(

around 05 -06 there was a ultra paranoid guest called Paul Williams. he would tell tales of utter doom and destruction of America via suitcase nukes. his spin and reporting from "credible inside military sources" of terrorists smuggling  small 5 ton yield nukes,  was convincing because he believed it 100%. I'm embarressed to say, I drank the kool-aid he was selling, and found myself pricing survival gear and Geiger counters and such on line.  I'm glad to say, I saw the light, so to speak of this snake oil salesman after his failed predictions of mushroom clouds in 8 or 10 US cities on the 60th anniversary of the bombing in japan in early august of 06. Also I'm glad his predictions never came to pass.

I don't know what ever happened to this guy. I've never heard him on c2c since, but I'm sure he and wells would have a Field day scarring the shit out of people. Hell have Steve Quayle join in and it would be a mega-doom fest that is right in Wells wheelhouse

He was a regular on Michael Savage preaching his American Hiroshima foolishness in that timeframe as well, 2005-07. He faced a lawsuit in Canada over defamation of some sort. Supposedly was an FBI "insider"...which explains a lot.

Most succinct quote from above.  This says it all for me, too.  :P

Lots of Timetraks whoring going on tonight. It's practically an infomercial. Be well and be scammed?

Not to defend him, nor to cast aspersions on the home of our Canadian friends, but it's really not that hard to defame someone in Canada - some would say Canada today is a perfect example of political correctness run amuck.

The guest tonight is telling Wells that Dec 21, 2012 is only the beginning of a global cataclysm that will last for years and result in Edgar Cayce's predicted pole shift event.
All apparently kicked off by Planet X appearing in our skies looking like a second sun...

Oh yeah, Canada is notoriously sensitive in terms of litigation/legislation of words. It's horrifying. But Williams did the John Loftus thing and basically gave info out about people who were not involved in terrorism. That irresponsible overreaching that can occur when one is trying to pump themself up and make their TV/radio appearances interesting.

Last night was a good example of what's wrong with Coast.  The first guest was Howard Bloom, who was talking about how Israel just shot down a drone.  Howard was discussing the various alliances within the Middle East that are playing out now, particularly in Syria and Egypt, and began to compare them to the European alliances before World War I.

Wells had to interrupt him in order to go to the idiots with the Merlin project who were hawking their "one month free" iPhone app.

Wells is getting better than Noory.  I was sound asleep after the first five minutes of last night's show.  Noory's beyond belief WTF moments keep waking me up.  :P

Swell, the entire first hour of Well's show is an infomercial for some stupid Merlin application free trial, and there is nothing more boring or unintentionally stupid as telling people over the radio how to work an application they don't have.  Oh, and Doom~n~Gloom Howard Bloom.

C2C is dying by inches.

A little over a month ago, I tuned in to the local station, expecting to hear the usual replay of the previous night's C2C.  Instead of the replay, it was "Ground Zero."  I fully expect sometime soon to tune for that night's C2C and get something other than C2C.

I think very soon(within a year-year and a half)C2C will be known as Ground Zero and Noory and maybe the rest of the hosts will be replaced by Clyde Lewis

misssirveaux

My local station starts carrying Ground Zero tonight.  It will air a few hours before Coast, with Alex Jones wedged between the two shows.  From the promos I've heard, I'm really looking forward to hearing Ground Zero.  Coast finally has some real competition, maybe.

With Clyde popping-up on the horizon, even simpleton Noory may be looking over his shoulder.  Some have noted Noory has been acting stranger than usual, if you can believe that.  ;)  Maybe that's why.

Has anyone tried that app they were hyping like there was no tomorrow?  Not only does it look shitty, it's obtuse and does nothing remotely useful as far as I can tell.

PremRad knows they have untapped potential with the overnight market. I'm sure they've been biding their time and are now grooming someone to take over that slot.

I'm liking Ground Zero so far and while Clyde Lewis isn't the be all end all he's exactly what PremRad wants. They want someone that fits the winning formula a la Hannity and his ilk. A host that has strong opinions and can articulate and argue them. There are no national radio hosts that are wishy washy, unmotivated and disinterested in their topics save one: The Snooron.

As Big Dave suggested within a year or so C2C will be replaced with GZ or something similar or Clyde will be hosting a new and improved C2C. Either way Snoory will be gone and PremRad will be counting their $$$.

Good point.  Just add "no talent" for Snooron's list of non-qualifications.  The sooner Premrat can dump Noory on a used car lot, the better.

I gotta say I enjoyed Wells last show... he can be entertaining at times.  I like him doing the planet x stuff.  He could have left his Nibiru pronunciation at home though.  Seems like every other show now is ok by JB.  horrible track record though.

Wells is interviewing Paul Rodgers, one of the great voices of rock music.  Score +1 for Wells. Rodgers is no Noory, thanks to all the gods ever imagined.

Noory would ask him if he knew Billy Gibbons of ZZTop, and try to get him to endorse Pat Boone for the R&R Hall of Fame.

Sardondi

"So, we welcome our very special guest on this very special edition of C2C, Paul Rodgers, who did the singing on Three's Company. Paul, that was a great, great show, and you were great, just great on it. So tell us - was there really as big a catfight between Suzanne Somers and Joyce Dewitt as they said?"

"...... I hear you have a great voice.  Are you ready for a little ditty for both us, "Islands in the Stream?"   A one, a two, a three......."

Who listened to the rock n roll show last night? Is it worth hearing since I didn't?
