Random stupid things on your mind. Post them.

Chine, you have taken me on so many fantastic trips lately.   :)

Where do you find all this??

Time for some hot enchiladas and Dr. Pepper while visiting my gracious parents, then while there will watch "The Marty Stewart Show." (sometimes have some Blue Grass guests that would make Jimmy Page and Robert Plant proud.)

Marty Stewart - The Blackie Lawless of country and western music.

Or, Blackie Lawless  of W A S P -  the Marty Stewart of metal.

Whatever.

I got nothin'.

Full Moon. Lock your doors.

This may be the coolest mystery exit I've witnessed since Carlos Castaneda hitched a ride on a Jolly Roger Peruvian piñata to the Sun in 1998.
Well, that's true too.

Happy trails, aldousburbank. It's been a pleasure knowing you in an internet way . . . no homo.

Thanks' for, confusing me, amusing me, turning me on to, "When do we eat?", and stuff. If you ever write that book, let us know. There's so many questions left unanswered.

Looking forward to your return.

I'm trying to imagine how well those go together.

I'm pretty sure Aldous is still at least lurking here.  You can click on a previous post of his and it'll take you to his profile, indicating when he (or any of us) was last here.  Dude, if you're reading this -- come back -- you are missed.

I know it drones on too long but that's what happens when you listen to this guy over and over for a few days solid.

It was interesting. Needs a gamelan in the background.

Hahahaha, Kevin Farley on Twitter:

QuoteI think it's safe to say that my brother would have crushed playing the Rob Ford guy on SNL.

Thanks for that. I particularly liked their section on Iran. Interesting to see that country from a different eye than it's portrayal in the media and focusing on its people and rich culture and not it's crazy leaders.

That "No" is pregnant with emotion. Put a beat behind that.

He's got a youtube channel full of this stuff and was arrested for making threats against the POTUS.

Awesome, but it makes me feel like such a piker for just leaving half eaten carrots in my kid's room on Christmas Eve. My dad had guts - he'd climb out on the roof, stamp and ring jingle bells on Christmas Eve when I was little.

I love the way the dinosaur parents think.

"Pterodactyls .. I think they're still out there, how 'bout you?" - Dave Noorie.  I'm still laughing about that remark.  I think I'll use it as an icebreaker the next time I'm introduced to someone.  ;)

Did you hear the Shirley MacLaine segment last night? One for the ages.

Why do they call it Ovaltine? The mug is round. The jar is round. They should call it Roundtine.

I missed it but saw the GNS comments and Valdez's review.  Another one of Jorch's "classhics."  Art, why did thou forsake us???  ;)

You watch Seinfeld in Australia? That seems so odd to me. I mean, I know you're not in some strange foreign land with vast cultural differences, but I just wonder how well it translates.

I've been hoping someone will post the audio. I'm so glad I tuned in when I did, it had me laughing like a maniac.

Forget the Australia you see in the movies (ie: Crocodile Dundee). We are exactly the same as you guys except a little bit thinner and not armed to the teeth. Otherwise our culture is basically the same. We get all your TV show, movies and music with a touch of our own local flavor.

Seinfeld, throughout it's run was on in prime time and now plays multiple times daily on cable.

I watch it religiously and can basically recite episodes verbatim. Every thing that happens in my day to day life can relate back to Seinfeld.
