To the Stars Academy, what's up with?

It looks like it's been a few moons since anyone in BG has discussed TTSA and lelongue.  It's 2020 now, and a lot has appeared to have happened. So, what do you all think of it? Briefly, I think the tictac and whatever videos are US military. I think the whole thing is a charade to manipulate the rather naive Tom dlongue. What the heck do you all think?
