Everyone should own Jethro Tull's album, "Stand Up".

Also, GET OFF THE SHOUTCAST STREAM ASSHOLES. Damn.

Oh MY!  LOL!

I've had that same feeling at times.

But - I'm gonna put my arse in bed - and let Ian and his garbage expert (yes, he REALLY IS a garbage expert - crap floating in the ocean to be specific) talk me to sleep.

Jethro Tull is amazing. His music reminds me of Iran. I always cry and smile when I listen to Ian Anderson sing. Great suggestion Pirate!

Just so I can show off: Ian Anderson is married to a ballerina and his son in law is a famous actor. They are a really cool family. I'd love to have dinner with them.

The pianist had a sex change recently and is now a woman.

Ian is crazy awesome indeed. Check this compilation video set to "Bungle in the Jungle". The man knows how to dress!

Probably would have been a good show but no shit the guy was on NPR Friday and it was almost all the same answers so it was boring for me in a way.

OK again, this was a good guest. Garbage is important. Have you seen that episode of the Simpsons when the town turns out to be a huge landfill?

Well, Jethro Tull was passed down to me from my Dad - along with Rush, AC/DC, Boston, ect. So when I was a kid it seemed old, but as I got older I realized that pretty much everyone cool came out in the 70's. Lol.

:)  Same here with some mid to late 60's as well...I listen to that more than anything new for the most part. Things just aren't the same.

And I saw Tull in 2003. The instrument tuning wasn't dropped and the tempo wasn't slowed. All in all it kicked ass.

Agreed. And I'd love to see Tull live, but they just never come here as far as I know. Do they even do U.S. tours?

Well like I said, I saw them in Providence RI in '03...www.j-tull.com/tourdates/index.html]I just checked their site[/url], and they don't seem to have plans to come here, though Ian Anderson will be doing a solo tour in the fall. They'll come around again, I'd bet.

I was absolutely wasted when I was there, yet I still remember it quite vividly...a very memorable experience.

Are we talking heartburn? Or are you so full of diuretic that it's going to take a shortcut out of your sternum? Bypassing your kidneys, bladder and so on and so forth. I recommend a pre emptive pee break

Harmness

This thread makes me want to open up a bottle and hurl myself headfirst down those stupid twelve steps.
