Remember when Edna Pringle wanted to move-in with George and Art?

Does anyone remember the time Edna Pringle called Art Bell after she had fled J.C. and wanted to move into "that compound that you and George Noory live at in Pahrump" and Art was like ""No, no, no, no. George Noory does NOT live here!"

That was sweet.

I wish Art Bell ran a daycare and I had kids, because then I would put my kids in that daycare. Thinking of how awesome that daycare would be just makes my fingernails hurt.

This also brings me to another question - is it just me or has Art had those same cats (with the exception of the Filipino cat) for like forever? Those cats must all be like 500 years old.

He has had some of those cats a long time - but he also names his cats after previous cats.  The current Abie, for example, is actually AbieDos.

I think most of us Art fans know he loves da kitties but I do believe that Abydos was named after one of the most ancient cities of Upper Egypt. A place where many pharaohs were buried who were well know cat worshipers and breeders but then again I did eat a lot of paste as a child.

Your story is both more poetic and makes more sense. But I could have SWORN I heard Art say that he was named for a previous cat that had died.  Oh well, I could be very wrong, or you could be right and it was still a reused name.  I dunno!

I'm the person who named her cat "Peeve" becuase she couldn't see herself writing "Nasty Bitch" on the forms at the vet.  MUCH less poetic.

As we know Art is no dummy and just think about it him & Ramona were into that a lot but I did hear him say it was Abydos as in Abby II but Art is a very cryptic person. I like your story that is better ahhahahaahha. Hmmmmm, let us see now, "Peevey" was AKA "Nasty Bitch" what is "Ev(eee)" = to?
