I'm pretty sure most people here already know that Noory sucks ass... I would like to see some actual numbers tho
Getting the actual numbers is the hard part, ratings is all about advertising and the price stations can charge for it with the content they provide, if your any kind of ranking in the media, you can get the ratings, but its very few.

This is serious.

Perhaps the F.B.I. needs to step in, due to the fact that Art has a radio show that transmits via cable wire which obviously crosses state lines.

Art said that they have a few suspects in mind. Lets ask ourselves, who would benefit the most if Art abruptly quit his radio show due to perceive safety concerns for his family. Perhaps the focus of the investigation should be on that individual.
I agree, I have a feeling daves ratings are tanking bad, many stations are reviewing their programming for 2016 at this time of the year, stations and content providers will try to keep their ratings secret, it tough to find proper ratings for anybody on the internet, but there are ways around it, I have one, but its not scientific or proper in any ways, its just gives you an idea what people think, google "dave full name sucks", make sure you have it in quotes, then google "art bell sucks", you will find around 14700 hits for dave and around 830 hits for art, 14700 to 830 is a huge difference, and don't forget, arts been on for a long time, try different things and see what your results are.

Technology / Re: Windows 10

Here is my 2 cents, there is a major inherent wifi problem for many, it can be fixed manually, the biggest thing is your privacy, they may have exceeded Apple with this shit, Windows 10 has a thing called wifi sense, look it up and shut it off, here is an excerpt from Microsofts Windows 10 agreement:

Finally, we will access, disclose and preserve personal data, including your content (such as the content of your emails, other private communications or files in private folders), when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary to: 1.comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, including from law enforcement or other government agencies; 2.protect our customers, for example to prevent spam or attempts to defraud users of the services, or to help prevent the loss of life or serious injury of anyone; 3.operate and maintain the security of our services, including to prevent or stop an attack on our computer systems or networks; or 4.protect the rights or property of Microsoft, including enforcing the terms governing the use of the services â€" however, if we receive information indicating that someone is using our services to traffic in stolen intellectual or physical property of Microsoft, we will not inspect a customer’s private content ourselves, but we may refer the matter to law enforcement.

There is also a part where Microsoft reads your email and serves up tailored ads to you when on the internet, all this is setup by default, it gets worse, currently Im reseting my privacy settings to shut all of this shit off, this is getting stupid. between my Apple and Microsoft computers, Im being driven to Linux.
Maybe I do want to do something illegal, then again maybe I don't.

Windows 10 might not be what you think it is.
After spending many hours on windows 10, Im most likely going to revert back to windows 7 on this one laptop, if you are running win 8.1 and you don't like it, your possibly going to like it a-lot more than 10.
Windows 10 is not called a operating system anymore, its called a service, what is puzzling is what Microsoft calls free, between them and Apple there is nothing free, it is not yet proven if 10 is free for the product cycle or free to use for one year, then after one year you pay a licensing fee, Microsoft claims it is free for the product cycle, in other parts Microsoft claims its free to use for one year, this is mixed in with the "you have one year to upgrade for free", try to figure it out.
Windows 10 is missing many things such as a DVD player, ok maybe you dont watch dvd's anymore on a computer, but if you want to play your DVD's you have to purchase the DVD player from their app store for $15.00, the problem here is, MS wanted $9.95 per year for a licensing fee a few days ago for the DVD player, you can see a pattern forming here, the free time waster games MS used bundle with previous OS's are now free to download from their app store, the problem is they aren't fully functional unless you buy components through their convenient in-app purchases.
Win 10 is a huge in your face advertising platform, if you love intrusive advertising plastered in your face, then windows 10 is for you.
Windows 10 also has the the equivalent of zero privacy, 10 has a huge increase of incoming and outgoing data compared to win 8.1, 8 and 7, I haven't gone that far yet to see what services are using the data.

I don't want ANYONE messing with my déjà vu moments, especially someone from Toronto.  My guess is that within 500 years all tasty Canadiens will have been offered up to the ETs.

I dont think ET's like beer marinated meat.

OK, if people are still up in arms at all about this by the time there is one, I'll call into the GabCast and explain. Circumstantial evidence always leads to a delightful row.

I think you'd be better off getting back to the guy who "hacked Top Secret NSA servers" and found "documents." With that much horseshit, there's a pony in there somewhere.
Disqualified, no sense of humour.

That is not evidence.

You do not have that.

... and? This means essentially nothing whether in or out of context.

Indeed! Everyone previously disqualified has been re-qualified. Now, you are disqualified. I am sorry.

Ok lets hear your evidence.

This information tips it over the top for me. It's fake. Final answer.

Just for fun, lets have a recap of evidence pointing to fake.
The self professed time traveler said,  "I work for the Ministry of Temporal Affairs as a personnel director for our permanent station in the present day", Answer is, there is no such thing as a Ministry of Temporal Affairs, in the present day.
Next he said: "We have free healthcare, free education", Answer, we already have that, but free isn't free, the people are taxed beyond belief for this, and it does not include Collage or University.
Next he claimed: "There are still cars but most of them are not personally owned. Instead they are communal. If you need a car you just go to a depot and pick one up and return it when you are finished with it", Answer, we already have it, its called Zip Car, many cities have this car rental service.
Anybody else want to chime in with their evidence, lets have some fun.

Also....he said that many parts of Canada have been made livable because of climate control. Um....like...all parts of Canada are livable now, so not sure what he is talking about.

Just sayin
Note the part in my reply post #7, where I said, this guy has probably never been out of Toronto, I now say he's never been out of downtown Toronto.

It might end up being good radio ratings wise if he somehow get this guy on. But to me it is pretty obvious it is a troll and most likely one from bellgab.
Just the part where he claims it is strictly controlled to prevent changes in timeline and yet somehow he will only get a little slap on the wrist for sharing this story.
The hoagland part also suggest it was a hoax, but at least that made me laugh a bit.

If this guy gets on the radio with Art, I would love to be on also, where I pick his story apart and prove he's a fraud, I know Toronto too well.

This so called time traveler has listed things from the future that Toronto already has today, and when he lists the future free stuff, one thing he hasn't  figured out, nothing is free, we"re taxed to death on what this guy calls free.

Keep in mind Art is upbeat about this letter.     :o    He's now sent out a second message that doesn't invite critique so directly and he's now getting more positive replies (in that thread) but most people are still on the neutral to negative spectrum.

As for Canadian agencies - well - who knows what they will have in 400 years?   ;)
I read the letter, its all about downtown Toronto, especially when it comes to cars, this guy mostly likely has never been out of Toronto, its your typical leftist crap, what this guy describes is what your typical downtown Toronto leafiest wants, the most traveling this guy does is with the red rocket (Toronto streetcar), and when he really wants to go for a ride, he's going to go into the spiralling tunnel called a subway train.

I was thinking of the same thing, if this guy is in Toronto, he's defiantly downtown around Queen st, their all time travellers down in that area.

Isn't a three hour terrestrial radio show ending at 3am (at least on the east coast) a bit awkward from a programming perspective?  Most morning drive time shows start usually no earlier than 5am, what will stations do for the 2-3 between the end of MITD and the morning drive program?
No not awkward at all, if the station doesn't opt to carry Hoaglands show, they will do reruns from the day, some stations will have new people who want to get into radio fill in at these times, many stations start their morning drives at  5:30 6am, there is always something to do.
#15
Your going to see more stations signing up as time goes on, don't forget radio is about numbers, Im sure right now there are many stations crunching numbers, there are also pre-conditions by Mitd that have to be met, to where the station has to figure out advertising placements, its not as easy as it sounds.
Coast to coast has been on a decline and decay for a long time now, the stations have to figure out listener loss and gains, the early station signups were most likely watching the progress of Art Bell returning to radio and rolling the dice on it, mind you its a good bet for the stations who come in early, its Art Bells second week and he hasn't disappointed, as for coast to coast, this is a big threat even-though Art Bells numbers are not in yet, the fact that coast management hasn't acted on their losses of listener affiliates is beyond me, this is clearly a management problem.
This is going to get more interesting as time goes on, and from what Ive seen, snorry and management are sore losers.

The op's lingo sounds like snoory, the answer here is, yes the pyramids have something to do with it.
#18
Does it really matter where the show's coming from, Im sure the liberal based stations would be welcome to carry Mitd, whats the white thing have to do with anything, it sounds like the op has a bit of a personal problem, let me give the op a bit of a heads up, "nobody cares".

Is the point that if a station in a specific market waits a full rating cycle (30 days?) to see the numbers, another station in that market will have already signed on with Art's show?
Yes, I should have listed that, and it has already happened, note this type of situation is not that common, but it also shows who is on the ball.

cat-

Can you explain that last statement about not having 30 days to figure this out?  What opportunity will be gone?
Its a monthly ratings thing they have, you would want to see what the listenership would be and if the numbers work.

#21
The first week of Art Bells return has caused many terrestrial broadcasting companies rethinking their current night time line up, usually night radio brought on reruns from the day or 2nd to 3rd rate shows at night, things changed when Art Bell and coast to coast came around, the high paying day time advertisers started booking spots at night on Arts show, also the advertising rates went up at night, currently coast to coast is considered junk status, meaning stations are barely make advertising bucks to keep the lights on.

Art Bell is not a new product, he is a tried tested and proven product, so the stations know what they are getting.
There has been turmoil the first week, CFRB 1010 was the first in Canada to jump on running Art Bell, many stations are choosing the wait and see options, I have a friend in the broadcasting business and they were saying you don't have 30 days to figure this out, its act now or forget it because the opportunity will be gone.

I wonder if I can get the station to come in across the lake here?
Your obviously in New Yorks State, I can get Rochester am/fm stations on depending on propagation, the Buffalo fm's come in like their next door, I don't know what kind of radio you are using, but modifying a antenna regardless of am or fm is not hard to do, google the ham sites and you will get a good idea, you can modify your antenna real easy at zero to little cost.

In Toronto CFRB 1010 am jumped on broadcasting Art Bell and MITD, mean while the competition CFMJ 640 am who has been carrying Coast to Coast since Art Bell has lost out, maybe 640 was waiting to see what happens or has commitments, or they were a sleep at the switch, regardless, Art Bell hasn't even been on a week and you can see the changes coming, GO FOR IT ART and bring back the night.

I mean down the road a bit, into a weekend nook and cranny to keep Midnight going 7 nights a week, perhaps?

Id like to see John B Wells on saturday night and George Knapp on sunday night, after listening to Hoagland's show today, it seems as if anybody talks to Art Bell, they get black listed by Noory and kicked off of coast.
Id like to see Noory and coast tank, and I think they will.

He interviewed Bob Lazar about it two decades ago.......
I heard that interview, and he described this reactor to almost exact.

Id like to hear Art interview people involved in the Lockheed Martin fusion reactor, the Skunk Works did the announcement and they never do any kind of media, the reactor is nuclear that is not radioactive, nor can it be weaponized, the end result is heat and magnetic waves.
This reactor announced is for mainstream commercial usage and uses hydrogen, but I understand they have a military version that does not use hydrogen, which is most likely for space usage, also this gives more credence to the halt of helicopter R&D, to be replaced by anti gravity units as intense amounts of power is need for this.
Google Lockheed Martin fusion reactor and take the link into Lockheed's site and they have a write up and video about it, this reactor is tiny and also renders nuke plants, wind turbines and solar panels obsolete
