Elections have become about who you are voting against as opposed to who you are voting for.  I honestly envy people who vote FOR Clinton or Trump- but the majority who show up to vote for the next president will be voting against the Republicans or the Democrats, the policies of the opposing party (and / or their leaders.)  Very few will actually be voting for what they believe in.

Well, you are talking to what is apparently a man pretending to be a woman pretending to be a Russian or Slav who is, for sure, an anti-Semite denying that he is one. So, definitely don't expect any kind of clarity from this sad sack. The military over here, incidentally, is more sane and more reliable than the rest of the government, so I wouldn't worry about them. Worry about the inhabitants of the White House.

Kasich and Carson need to drop out or it is doubtful Rubio will have much of a chance.  Cruz isn't dropping out anytime soon and I do not see many supporters deserting him at this point.  Trump's path is pretty clear unless Kasich and Carson drop out.  Kasich has a real chance of becoming a VP pick for either Cruz or Rubio because Ohio is so critical but he has to bow out now or the chance will fade.  Trump doesn't need him. However, if Kasich lets his ego get in the way, he will never have another good chance of becoming President.  He needs to bow out in the next week as does Carson.

I believe Trump would benefit more than anyone if Carson dropped out. I dot think Kasich can stay in much longer, which is benefit Rubio. I also question of Cruze can keep his support base or if Trump and Rubio will syphon them off.

They are building war chests. The money flowing into this campaign is in the billions. There is no reason for Cruz or Rubio to stop. Those two have benefactors that will continue to support them until the end. The question to ask is why the benefactors won't allow the party to coalesce? The paranoid part of me says, if Cruz and Rubio stay in the race, Trump is a shoe in. The monied interests have put a lot more thought into this than I have. *shrugs*
