still nothing here in Philly lol

I think the best station for MITD IN Philly is NJ 101.5. THEY HAVE A MONSTER stick that covers all of Jersey plus NYC & Philly. Other then that all you really have is 950am in Philly which sucks...

I would be interested in the Stern content.
When will Stern take off that ridiculous hair piece. I realize he's trying to portray that he is younger then the 175 years old he is but he's starting to look like an old Jewish woman. It must be nice to make 100 million a year for 3 days a week & August off but did he really have to abandon/disown his daughters?

He said he never met Snoorey & only spoke to him for 1 minute on the phone. The host also said that Wells Saturday night ratings were better then any C2C that Snoorey hosted during M-F. Wells sounds rather funny & took a nice shit on clear channel. He had only nice things to say about Art...

First of all, I'm not good at speaking out as I'm usually introverted, but I need to try to do something. Art Bell has seen me though rough times in my life. I started listening to him since I was 13. I am now 28 and I am over the moon to hear his voice as it once was, especially in the heart breaking time of life I am experiencing right now. I KNOW many of you feel the same! Has Art Bell seen you though good and bad times too?

I love the O&A bit, but they're obviously not aware that the streaming timeout is now four hours. Art asked for that the first week of his show, and Sirius/XM changed their web player. I was listening to entire shows straight through with no issues.
The SiriusXM app on my iPad still times out after 90 minutes

Has anyone ever heard of the Ticket in Dallas? Those guys are really a hoot. You can stream them online. This is one radio show I like alot. Check out the Musers with the Great Gordo. You will be rolling on the floor.  ;D
I have yet in life to be told that someone or something is a, "Hoot" & was actually funny. The only age group that I hear using the word hoot have had their AARP cards for at least ten years...

Opie & Anthony by far. Stern was great, 20 years ago. Now he just looks like an old Jewish woman.

You don't need a radio station or siriusXM.  The internet delivers audio easily.  All you need is a studio and some good bandwidth.  Joe Rogan has proved that.

Leo Laporte with Twit also proved that.
Joe Rogan is on SiriusXM. They play his JRE podcast every weekend on the Opie & Anthony Channel, as he is a friend of theirs.

The John Anthony West interview was epic. Listening to him as he drank throughout the show was so funny. I emailed Art's producer about having him on. Fingers crossed...

After Art I forgot to switch channels and listen to Pete Dominick until I couldn't take it any more.
Here's why.
Who IS this guy anyway ?
And how in the hell did he get his own talk show ?
TMZ makes more sense than this idiot and that's saying a lot !

The Guy From Pittsburgh ( tm ) Talks About Pete Dominick, Enviro Whacko !!! ...
He is a standup comedian who is liberal in his ideology  as well as his comedy. He previously hosted a show on XM P.O.T.U.S. & was moved to the indie channel after the merger. He is a great guest & funny as fuck on Opie & Anthony & other radio shows. His morning show is good in my opinion but I can only listen in bits & spurts. He is much better then Jay Thomas & Stern who now looks like a 70 year old Jewish woman. By the way Stern's hair is a wig with extensions. If ever given the chance I'd rip that rats nest off & sell it on eBay ...

I had an alien living next door to me & one in my freezer. The one next store was deported back to Mexico & the one in my freezer I beat to death for eating my Tortino's pizza rolls.

I'm glad there are two.  I hope George is not discouraged and remains doing what he does.  We need them both.  We, the listening fans who are better informed than the others because of these shows, must know we all would benefit from them.  Both hosts will compete, the guests get better and we all win, win.
The less time spent thinking how to throw barbs the better for us.  It takes away from the educational possibility and replaces it with roap-a-dope.
I want to know about our very distant past and all the other misteries the Grand Creator of the Universe invoked.
Thanks for your time, :)

This free streaming request/demand from Art to Sirius almost sounds like Art is looking for an excuse to quit again.

Art is flighty, as we know...I love Art but i'm very skeptical.   What do you think?
Take a deep breath & calm down. Art is not going anywhere. He's just trying to provide his show to people who can't afford the service & to offer his voice to a greater audience.

Agree.  Opie and Anthony have their own channel and are also on terrestrial radio.  That is where the money is, and where Art can crush George in a final countdown - by going into syndication.

Art v George - radio cagematch!
Opie & Anthony are no longer doing terrestrial radio, it's only SiriusXM now. When they were seperat companies XM made a deal with CBS radio to simulcast their terrestrial show on XM from 6-9am & then 9-11am on XM only. What ensued was a disaster. Their show suffered greatly due to the constant spots(commercials) every 20 minutes & restrictions on the content due to FCC regulations during the 6-9 CBS show. When Sirius & XM merged they let the CBS contract runout. The lesson to be learned is twofold. First why would you want to go from 3 1/2 hours of content, on Dark Matter, then chop off about an hour of content. Second, C2C is doing a great job at alienating its fan base & is dying a slow painful death. Wouldn't you rather have it fail all on Dave's shoulders rather then Art going head to head & destroying something he built. It just comes down to content & terrestrial radio can't provide for Art what satellite does. If Art wanted to he could stay on air all the way up to 6am in the east he wanted to. This is something that terrestrial radio can't offer...

I don't think I've ever been too stoned to pass a sobriety test. Is that even possible?
I regularly get to stoned to pass a field sobriety test. It's all in what you smoke. I only smoke exotics & for the record I have a very special brownie, which I will eat when Dark Matter goes live.

What do you mean like one where world war two was lost or the civil war had a different outcome or is that a parallel universe theory?
The Multiverse is like a little of both you mention. There could be several versions of ourselves in multiple universes all having took a different path on the road of life. A world where we live under a Monarchy or are a third world nation. There are many great documentaries on YouTube about it.

I'm really intrigued by the Multiverse theory. I would love to see Art have Brian Green on to discuss. I don't recall it being brought up by Dr. Kaku the night Art broke his extraterrestrial cherry...

Technology / Re: If Art did a show on a technology...
October 22, 2013, 10:35:06 PM
I would like Art to do a show on the advancements of Nano Technology. I also would like to hear a show on the future of military weaponry. Things like Stealth Naval ships, satellite missile technology, swarms of UAV's disguised as swarms of insects, anti-shipping missiles & Super Soldiers with exoskeletons/ military robotics.

Since Art was not available tonight, I watched TV financial  news. Lou Dobbs had a guest named Richard Metzger  who recently introduced his book "History Decoded" about world wide mysteries and conspiracies including Area 51.  The guy is an interesting analytical thinker with some unique insights and documentation.  I think that he would be a very decent guest.
Sounds like he would be a very interesting guest. Fire off an email to Arts producer Paul Bowman
