If Art is stirring up interest with the drama, he should realize this is kinda negative for people who are more or less "lifelong fans".

It's really frustrating. I only listen to what I consider "great broadcasters". People like:

Milt Rosenberg (Formerly WGN Chicago now podcasting)
Neil De Grasse Tyson (Startalk)

(those are just a couple)

Art is in the Top 2 for me against Milt. They change spots from time to time.

George knows he didn't earn or deserve the job.  He was always running scared Art would come back and reclaim the show. 

That turned into resentment.  I think subconsciously people resent either needing handouts, or receiving them undeservingly.

He has to know his show is the result of falling into a niche Art carved out by himself. A bigger, more secure man wouldn't be shitting a brick because his 'rival' returned, but a petty man like  himself is afraid of the inevitable comparisons. He knows damned well that even a two year  hiatus like Art's would never get the response for him that it does for Art. He's not Art and that's his problem which no amount of Gaiam dopey tv will ever solve. It's in your head George. You have your show, run it and let the rest of us be happy for Art and welcome him back in peace.
