I appreciate being appreciated, and I'm glad my videos brought a smile.

But for the record I was just having fun with the topic of the f-word, since it had come up. It wasn't meant as a dig at Samy. (I do understand where she's coming from, but I also agree that this forum may not be the best place for those with more tender sensibilities.)

I could be wrong about this, but my sense is that your specific complaints are a strong indication you're not going to be happy on this forum.   Maybe you already know this, but in a short 5 months from now this forum will have existed for six years.  It began its life as georgenoorysucks.com.  If you click on that link, or simply put georgenoorysucks.com in your browser, it will bring you here still. 

The fact is that the georgenoorysucks thread has been running strong for 5 1/2 years, 1,325 pages, and 39,727 posts all about how badly George Noory sucks.   Incidentally there's a thread in that same section of the board called "George Noory is awesome."  It has 2 pages and 43 posts, though most of them are disagreeing with the premise of the thread title. 

Yes, you will see A LOT of profane language, as well as what you may deem rudeness, character assassination, and probably much worse than that.  Much of what you see will offend you, of that I'm quite sure.  This is the forum you've joined, and it's not going to change to please you or be less offensive to you.  There are other forums about Art Bell and George Noory on the internet that would seemingly be a better match for your sensibilites, but that's up to you. 

MV is the owner of this forum and he's been quite clear about what he deems acceptable here, on his property.  Besides reading the terms of service, you might consider this post from our host, http://bellgab.com/index.php?topic=407.msg3235#msg3235, clarifying the acceptable use of language, and also read the subsequent posts on that thread.   If that's not acceptable to you, this probably isn't the forum for you. 

Have you learned how to use the "ignore user" function on your profile page?  That's the best and only remedy to shielding yourself from users whose communications here offend you.  Either that, or just learn to scroll past them.  As MV says in that post I linked you to:

This forum which was much more eloquently explained by Lonevoice was formed with the singular point that noory is a waste. And, even if one takes the position that the profanity is not effective in its goal, so what? Hell, anyone with a brain larger than a grain of sand realizes that. And this forum stands more to assuage that frustration than talking nice.

If the forum offends, there are a few others out there that would probably not. And to be more clear, no one made anyone else come here.

I lived in Portland OR back in the 90's. Did a short stint in a Kinkos there for the overnight shift. It was a tiring, boring job, and the only things that kept it interesting were the whacked out homeless people that crept into the store to use the bathroom, like the old guy Orion, and....Art Bell's Coast to Coast.

This was late '93 to early '94. FUCK! 20 years ago.

So, I become a fan and listened regularly, or at least when I could. I remember how popular he was becoming (maybe 1995-96 I think) when I went to some guy's house to look at a shitcan, old Volvo to buy. The Volvo owner had to cut my inspection of the car short because it was Sunday night, and he and his roommate (these guys were in their 50's or 60's) had to get into the house to listen to Art's Dreamland. What's even funnier, I was thinking the exact same thing as I was standing there at the old Volvo--Art's coming on soon, and I gotta go.

I still feel the same way, even now, 20 years later--Art's coming on, and I gotta go.

Let me get this straight. So because it's the internet, it's totally appropriate to use foul language and have no class?? That doesn't mean you don't have a right to your opinions but opinions can be stated without having to use the F word so casually. It's used almost as much as the word "the".

I think that I need to get something straight... What the fuck?  You come to an unmoderated forum dedicated to Noory sucking and are surprised to find foul language peppering the comments?  I would say that I do not mean to offend; but honestly, I would be lying. 

***I often avoid that language, and when I feel it necessary usually ### over the letters (I do not know why... perhaps it is like certain people who write God as G--.  everybody knows what was meant, but somehow leaving the letters blank is better?)  However, in the case of this post I feel it necessary... I really do not care to have the moral police upset with how people conduct themselves here.  It is a unique forum with an eclectic, interesting mix of people.  some curse like sailors, some don't.  I am not certain that it is up to me (or you) to police it.  If MV wanted I am sure he could run around cleaning up the board and put in rules like Art had on DM (which I appreciated.)  Being as MV is both a heathen and an infidel, it seems unlikely that those rules will be implemented anytime soon.

Mmmm... Let's see... What others ways could one phrase that? To each his own. They have a right to their opinions. What I have issue with is the slamming that goes on and the constant foul language. I don't need to read "fuck" in most of the posts I see. Not to mention all the other foul things I read. "Gargling someone's balls" to me is way rude. They think it's funny but I think it's childish and overly rude. Not liking someone is one thing but a lot of what is here isn't just opinions. A lot of it is downright character assignation and defamation of character. That to me is over the top. Some were even commenting about being sued for it in the GNS thread, so those people know it's not exactly cosher. I have no beef with those that don't like George or any of the other Coast hosts, but it can be said without being so rude and defaming that person. Of course that would take some class and wouldn't be as much fun for them.

It appears that you signed up on this site on November 8th of this year.  Were you compelled by some force outside of yourself to participate here? 
Since participation is entirely voluntary, I echo those who suggest that this might not be the site for you.  There are few things more annoying than a new person who comes in and decides it is their job to dictate the level of decorum on the site.  If you do not like a particular user you can block their posts.  If you do not know how to do that you should take the time to learn to use the site options.  I hope you can use this as a growth experience.

It's not adult language. It's profanity. I'm not squeamish by any means but why do so many posts I read have FUCK and other such words in them. It sure isn't necessary. Can't people say what's on their minds without adding foul language to nearly everything? It's called having some CLASS. Would these same people who use these words so frequently talk like that to their bosses or business associates? Adult language my ass. It's more like childish language.

As others have mentioned, class is a subjective thing. I wear pearls, high heels, and carry myself gracefully.  I also say "fuck" all the time.  I think I'm quite classy as do most people I know.  What is not classy is inserting yourself into a group and lecturing them continuously, expecting them to conform to your standards. If you don't like the language here, you can start your own board or find one that censors speech.

                                                                      STATEMENT TO BELLGAB

On behalf of Art Bell, I am issuing a statement to the participants of BellGab, the fans of Art Bell, and even Art's enemies.

A number of days ago Art and I made contact in regard to his legal issues involving Sirius XM, and now Premiere Radio and Coast to Coast.  Art's desire is to return to the air as soon as possible, and he wanted me to investigate his legal options.  Art instructed me to look into each and every option, and by that he meant every option, after which he will decide which avenue to select to return to the airways.  Every option is on the table, but the preference is for a quick return in a format that Art prefers.

Art Bell is not a businessman, and he made a mistake trusting those who perhaps should not have been trusted.  He is now assembling a team in order to correct that mistake, and will make his decision fairly swiftly.  It is gratifying to note the legal hurdles do not look nearly as significant as initially feared, and I will present Art with a number of legal options in the very near future.  If that is what is required to get a show on the air, Art will proceed with one of those legal options, though the final decision remains with Art Bell.

Those of you who have ideas on how to proceed with the ground troops, i.e. BellGab itself, should feel free to send me a personal message with your ideas.  Videos, posting at certain sensitive websites, and other such actions, are all encouraged if done in a legal manner.

On a more personal note, in doing due diligence I have been allowed to review much of the existing "back room" documentation, and it is everything Art has stated and more.  The failures of the Sirius system have been consistent and widespread, with documentation to support this, and which Art approached Sirius with from Day One.  Records of this exist.  I have instructed Art not to get into too much detail on this until such time as a final legal team and plan of action have been selected.  Suffice to say, the other side frequents this website regularly, and it is wise not to show our hand until we decide to play it.

In conclusion, all legal or other options are now being evaluated.  Art will make a decision in the near future on how to proceed.

I agree.  We don't know, other than through a confirmation or denial from Art.  The contents of the post seem to be more concerned with letting us know about his or her retention than Art's situation.  Additionally, a lawyer should be generally unconcerned with what anyone has to "suggest" as a course of action.  Yes, a little fishy.
