She was bitching a couple days ago. I figured she was getting the cold shoulder from Heather.

Heather has found a replacement for Lasha, for now.
It is the Vara crew and mostly that dude Ira Robinson who has been given the job of stroking Heather's ego and trying to fulfill her every whim.
She has spoken with him over 90 hrs as of a couple days ago ;D

(Ira Robinson - he is lurking and also trying to stir the shit here as well)

Wonder what this guys girlfriend has to say about all that cosy chat?

Ah, yes.  Good times, good times.  Patience and perseverance were definite requirements.

I remember those paper tapes from my years as a Navy radioman. You could spend hours cutting a long message.

Didn't you think it was a little 'odd' .... ?
Three grown men living at home with Pa.
Minding everyone's business but their own.
Not a woman in sight ..... anywhere!
Even the fucking cook was a guy.
Very 'odd' indeed ....
And you liked that ?
You mean old "Hop Sing" Chinese cook and chief bottle washer etc, etc...

I'm going way low - 35 days.

Heh, this is like Bellgab's own "Price is Right"...and coincidentally old Bob Barker was a bit of a poon hound in his own right, lol.

Course he had top drawer TV models to pick from...
I’m sure good Dave will take heat here but he is the best host MITD has had.

But they're not "his tools" per se...

Nope that would be and always will be - Art Bell!

Dave's his own cat.

And that's why the show needs a name change.

I hear Heather will not be on the air next week after all. Is this true?

Thank you, Bell. That is Hosea M. Knowlton, chief prosecutor at the Lizzie Borden trial.

Perhaps, but it’s a little tricky now that Crystal Gayle is on board with her song being used. Plus, poor Karen might explode if she had to remember (and talk about) the new name.

They should just surrender and call it Dark Matters.

According to the head of his html document, Carl is actually spinning the gold of artbellLegacy on Microsoft Frontpage, a WYSIWYG editor that's been discontinued for over a decade. Carl's version seems to be the one that was included in Office 2003.

Bleeding edge tech, here.

Nice! I recall obsessing over Lizzie in 9th or 10th grade. Not really a good idea, seeing as how I went to a religious school, but I couldn’t help myself. I hope to someday make the trek to MA to see her one-time home.

Yes, hugs again for the assistance.

The last few days around here = "sewergab". Makes a gal not want to come around often. Of course there is this little thing called "life" that comes a-knocking. Yesterday I visited with a patient who was in a particularly great mood. Then, to top off the day, my ASD kiddo received a very special honor at his school's award ceremony.  A beautiful plaque. I'm still crying.   :'(

Congratulations Bell. You should be very proud of your son!

By that standard, what type of medal / citation does Lasha deserve? :)
Fluffykins of the year.

Lasha is a clown  ;D

Heather has only managed to do two new shows. Both shows were pretty much train wrecks.
She's finding any excuse to not do a show.

Schrader's been without a phone system, and I think he should have been taking Skype calls, but at least he still managed to do the shows.

I find it amusing, I for one love the fear being displayed.

Fair points both.

I think the CG tune could remain as an outro, but perhaps not every night.

The show really needs its own identity and each bit of Art's personal foibles that pile up do it legacy damage of you will. I mean suppose someone really makes the pedo charges stick, that would be an advertiser no-sell for MITD.

Meanwhile Dave has a good workmanlike style of his own, businesslike, a bit more aggressive than Art at times, but also some wry humor. I'd like to see him and Keith define a new paradigm in terms of branding and I'd like to suggest they consider making it millennial- friendly, however one manages that delicate advertising feat.

An aging late night audience and their memories are a sure fire way to send MITD to the same place newspapers and network TV have been going.

And for that we have George Noory!

And Karen still has her classic Art and Romona time and temp carts.

;)

I like that...a LOT...

You have evoked Art's last great ponderance in the paranormal, repeated the network 's name, and Dave's podcast is "called Darkness Radio", so all the bases have been touched.

Very nice play, sir!

:) :) :)
