Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II. To date, the United States has provided Israel $127.4 billion (current, or non-inflation-adjusted, dollars) in bilateral assistance. Almost all U.S. bilateral aid to Israel is in the form of military assistance, although in the past Israel also received significant economic assistance.

Every empire that’s enslaved him is gone
Egypt and Rome, even the great Babylon
He’s made a garden of paradise in the desert sand
In bed with nobody, under no one’s command

He’s the neighborhood bully

Now his holiest books have been trampled upon
No contract he signed was worth what it was written on
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health

He’s the neighborhood bully

Anybody with any thoughts on 'Dr' John Curtis now being a daily commentator on the 'news' section of the program?

I listened to the first hour of George Ure.  Unlike Steve Quayle, he wasn't completely rambling because I think he was planning to actually reach a point, however, the problem was that he obviously wanted to leave the conclusions of his investigations until the conclusion and decided to go through his evidence first.  The problem is, especially given the long winded explanation he had, is that it's hard to follow along if you don't know where he's going.  This works for a mystery movie or a suspense radio play, but it is an incredibly poor way to put forward an argument.

This coupled with arguments in his first hour "this reminded me of movies with the Ark of the Covenant which suggested to me..."  (yes, because everybody knows fictional movies are a great way to prove an argument, I mean "Bigfoot could be real, after all look at Chewbacca") suggests to me, using Occam's razor that Ure simply isn't very intelligent.

A perfect guest for Nori.

Discriminating against babies is age discrimination.  Next thing you know, they won't allow patrons with Alzheimer's.  Or developmentally disabled people.

"Since 1993, discriminating against kids has been illegal in NYC and subject to a hefty fine up to $250,000.

To file a discrimination complaint in NYC: http://www.nyc.gov/html/cchr/html/complaint/filing-complaint.shtml"

From:  http://pix11.com/2015/02/19/no-kids-allowed-moms-with-kids-expose-discrimination-from-businesses/

If you discriminate against a baby, will it grow up to be a mean baby?

Noory should just retire. I don't know why he keeps doing the show. I think it is just a lifestyle thing for him. There is really no point to the show not that there was ever. But its just lame, old, lifeless, and not worth listening too. I have tuned out long ago.

Rolling tape is just lazy.

I think so too. :)  Seriously, I'm pretty sure, as you said, the reason he keeps doing the show even though he's clearly lost interest in most of the topics and guests (except for the new topics he's added in like his 'critical health' nonsense and possibly now 'self help) is that he's set in his ways and it's his life.  "What would I do if I didn't do the show?"

Please show me the post where I said the Ds had control of the sentate the entire 8 years of Reagan's term.  They did hold the Senate for the first six years, when most of what Reagan came to office to do was done

Oh, Okay fine, sorry for misinterpreting what you wrote slightly.  However, this was not my fault because I assumed you meant the whole eight years because you said the part about the Democrats holding the U.S Senate when the Reagan agenda was implemented.  I had assumed you meant the whole eight years because, as you've written here, that left out 1987-1988, when I thought you were referring to the Democrats being in control.

The problem here is you have it backwards.  The Republicans controlled the U.S Senate from 1981-1986 and the Democrats controlled the U.S Senate in 1987-1988.

The 1980 election was when Democratic U.S Senators who were elected in the 1974 Democratic wave year were up for reelection and the Republicans returned the favor and took control of the U.S Senate 53-47.  Many of the first term Democrats were defeated as were those who had a precarious hold on their seat like George McGovern of South Dakota.

In 1982, even though the Democrats won bigly in the U.S House (I believe they won a net of 26 seats), the U.S Senate election was when U.S Senators last elected in 1976 were up for reelection.  That had also been a fairly strong Democratic year and the Republicans added a net of two U.S Senate seats for a total of 55-45.

In 1984, even with Reagan's landslide reelection, as was said at the time, 'he had no coattails' and the Democrats reduced the Republican majority back to 53-47.

Finally, in 1986, which was when the Republicans elected in 1980 were up for reelection, the Democrats reversed some of their losses from that cycle and took back the U.S Senate 55-45.

So, no, what you claimed was wrong.

I hope you're not going to refer to this as 'fake news' because it's not that hard to find, and I even have old encyclopedia yearbooks and magazines that can show that wikipedia or wherever else you might want to search up on this haven't been faked by some liberal conspiracy.

I'm not surprised you believed this falsehood though because I'm aware that 'the Democrats controlled the U.S Senate when Reagan was President' is something that is frequently posted on right wing websites.  I think some of that is deliberately false revisionist history, but it's also likely this false belief stems from the Democrats controlling the U.S House, which, since that's where budget bills originate and Reagan being most famous for his tax cuts in 1981-1982, that the idea that the Democrats also controlled the U.S Senate just got tagged along.  This is also made more likely by people frequently incorrectly to the U.S House as 'Congress' or as House Members as 'Congress people'  even though both the U.S House and Senate actually comprise Congress.

Of course, my broader point still stands, you claim to be an expert on the Reagan Administration, and yet, you weren't even aware this stuff about 'The Democrats controlling the U.S Senate' is false.  Since you obviously believed that because you got it from right wing websites that are likely engaging in revisionist history, who knows how much else you believe about the Reagan Administration that is based on genuinely fake news.

Nori has announced he's doing a 'live show' in Salt Lake City.

In an incredible coincidence, the number of Utah residents who say they believe in G_d has declined by 50% since Nori's announcement.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nori to guest: "Some people are being possessed.  How do they let their guard down and let that happen?"

If the guest had given an honest reply "The listen to you hosting Coast to Coast and give up hope."

I'm not a big fan of Dianne Feinstein but I know that if she were a Republican you'd be supporting her 100%, irrespective of her voting record and irrespective of any alleged or real crimes she's committed.  Everybody here with a brain knows you're a completely unethical sleaze as well as a hopeless retard.

No one in DC my lifetime is more dishonest, corrupt, or blatantly engaged in more criminal activity than Hilary Clinton.

I know all the Ds want to point to Trump and say ''him to'', and perhaps they have a point on some of it - but she is orders of magnitude worse.  There is no equivalency there.  Not even close.  And you know it.  On top of that, Trump has some actual accomplishments he can point to, she has none.

No, nobody with a brain knows that, but a hopeless retard like you believes that.

After taking the human race thousands of years to finally throw off tyranny and dictatorship in it's various forms - at least in the West at one time - you think support for ever bigger government in the modern era at the expense of personal liberties is the appropriate way forward?  It's not, it's the way to the past.  Those who claim to be ''Progressives'' are just the opposite.

I realize you do a lot of reading, but if that's what you're getting out of it you need to step back and see the big picture.

I support the amount of government required to help solve a specific problem or deal with a set of issues in the way that most people can be made better.  I certainly recognize that not every problem can be helped by government or should be helped by government.

I've also read enough to know that the idea of 'government' vs. 'personal liberties' is often a false dichotomy.

For instance, I was reading on Quara today some guy whining about being fired from some company to which he attributed to making a pro Trump comment at work after he got tired of hearing all his fellow employees disparage Trump.  A number of people replied to him "you voted for a person and a party that is both anti-union and believes in the right of employers to fire a person at any time for no cause, so it's hard to have any sympathy for you since you got what you voted for.  You should look at this as you now have your freedom to find a new job.'

So, if you believe that an employer should have the personal liberty to fire a person at any time for no cause, then you believe government can only take away personal liberty by getting involved.  If you believe that more than just the employer should have personal liberty then you don't find government involvement in this as inherently reducing personal liberty.
