Falkie, please tell us if the raccoon that was in your living room escaped with your prized happy meal box.

Falkie,
I've never watched one of your videos, oh I've started to a couple of times, but I'm just not a watcher- I'm a do-er. I pretty much don't watch anything on tv or otherwise and the youtube app on my phone goes unused save for listening to odd music and concert vids. So it's not that I don't appreciate the effort and heart that you clearly put into it but I am just not in your target demographic pool.

But I want to make an actual post here so that the dude playing a dude who plays another dude does not misrepresent or otherwise obfuscate the dude whom he's playings' opinion heh.

OK SO... Fuck me here goes: <snipage>

Thanks... for letting the Big Guy know you're a Fan. This is important!

Donations will help keep the show rolling along.

Contrary to popular belief in here, we can afford to pay for breakfast and I am not going to go rip off Holiday Inn for a continental breakfast. WTF?  Did you pilfer my 5 bux fm the Kath eviction fund?  You filth!
If I did, I'd never hear the end of it from the jerks on here.  Fm us, because you have no conscience.

I'm tempted to pay for Noory's dinner & Kathy says I should go and do a video of it.  Pls do that.  That's perfectly good money for Kath's eviction situation that should be shat away Snoory.  As you pick up the tab, ask him again if he has any money for you.

You're getting a one-on-one with the guy at the studio that some hokey dinner where he shakes everyone's hand and pretends to be interested in what they have to say couldn't touch.

Even though I poke fun here and there, I do hope the interview goes well (despite being blocked).
You are not blocked to me ;D

MV just called me and I will contact him to see about streaming the interview sometime this afternoon, assuming that Skype works on my Ipad.

Just talked to MV and he says if I get TMobile I won't have to worry about their wifi. He says they have a really good network for that sort of thing.

Now to see once I get set up with them if Skype works on this replacement Ipad. I never tried to use Skype on the other one.

I will let MV know around one o clock or so what happens one way or the other.
And that Noory's event has wi fi. If it doesn't then you're just going to have to watch it on You Tube.

Thanks MV for helping Falkie... I really mean that.

Falkie, if the streaming thing with MV gets to frustrating, let go and concentrate on doing a great interview. As you posted we can watch it on youtube later.

A better question: if we stop posting here will he go away?

Nothing to lose... give it a try.

Now those are some handsome, highly-relevant-to-the-video thumbnails.  Bravo, Falkie.

(Please don't replace them with pictures of box fans or Matt Smith.)

So lets ridicule her?

I don't get it either... these dopes scare people off with their ridicule...  Patty may be a lot of fun?

If a few more lurker fans of Falkie post, these Bullies can be dealt with.

If it does go live, when should we tune in?

Good question.  There should be a SPECIAL FALKIE/NOORY PRE-SHOW EDITION of the GabCast going throughout the day hosted by MV and company.  Sort of like a Super Bowl pre-show, anticipating the SUPER BOWL OF INTERVIEWS that could happen at any moment when Falkie calls MV on Skype from Noory's studio.

And Kathy, perhaps sadly, is the only one left to blame for taking abuse if that happens- after episode one. Oh yeah, I know there will be NPR emeffers on here who say she's a powerless victim. Fuck that.

Damn dude, you shouldn't have eaten the brown acid. Your brain does some fucked up shit to you when you are emotionally attached to someone. It doesn't happen all at once, but slowly after you've put your trust in someone. For some, maybe not Kathy but for some when you love someone you don't want anything bad happening to them, you care for them and erroneously you assume that they have the same feelings about what love is that you do. When they start abusing you your stupid brain comes ups with excuses for them.  Everyone makes mistakes. Then when it comes to the time when you say, 'fuck this, anything is better than this'. You worry about the unknown and that is a difficult obstacle to surmount. It seems easy when you are on the outside looking in.

And now...back to the village idiot show:

And Kathy and Patti should focus on the 'Making Of' documentary no matter what comes up that might be distracting - just keep that camera rolling

So there's a chance the interview could be streamed live?  Oh please let that be true lol.

Looks like MV is trying to set it up with Falkie. But I'm concerned it may take Falkie off his game, and he'll get frustrated with the tech stuff.

Plus, no offense intended MV, but the Gabcat start-ups aren't exactly a crowning achievement of success.
I know it's little free show with no budget, so who cares if there are a few glitches, I don't, it adds to fun.
But this is Falkie's big event, I can't see how he's going to deal with new streaming software, based on his past issues.

Someone should video Falkie videoing Dave with MV yelling at assisting Falkie with the streaming configurations.

I don't think MV is buying what you're selling.

That would be GREAT!!! but someone better volunteer to be the Falksters wing man. Or this could all blow up like last weekend.

There's a better chance of it happening if MV's involved.

I'm not trying to sell anything...  except, this could be a lot of Fun and hope it happens, but IMHO the Falkinator is going to need help to pull off any live streaming.
I could be wrong? maybe MV can walk him through it, Good Luck  :-*

It theoretically should be as simple as Falkie opening up the Skype app, calling MV on Skype, and not disconnecting the call.  Then MV puts it on the live special edition of the GabCast the same as he would any other Skype call.  And Falkie can focus on interviewing Noory and filming it (with his second iPad, I guess).

There must be lots of lurkers here, I can feel their hot breath on the back of my neck.

I'm more of a fan of Falkie than not, and aldous I agree with practically everything you said in the big post.  This thread makes me laugh and that's all that matters to me, I see nothing mean spirited about it.

Public access on cable was pretty popular back when I was a teenager. There were a few guys on there who would do call in shows while sitting in front of their camera. It was completely random nonsense. Every call was a prank call and these guys would pick up the phone, hear the prank, and hang up just to take another prank call. Because in their mind, they really thought they were accomplishing something. Week after week was the same. And I admit, I'd watch it. It was funny in a sad, pathetic way.
Falkie is today's public access.

Agreed. Say what you will about the Falkmeister but he's got more gusto for whatever the hell it is he's up to than a lot of stoners I know. And the fact that his art elicits responses from the gang that make me laugh... you can't make this shit up man!

Wow - that's a good observation, and I'd agree.  When I used to live in Seattle in the '90s, there was a public access show every Friday night / Saturday morning called "Mike Hunt For President."  (Say the names together real fast if you haven't heard that one before.)  He used to do porno reviews, and usually had a girl in the studio with him that he'd do questionable things with considering it was on live TV for public viewing.  But then again, they were showing clips of pornos, so I guess there's no difference.

And no - I was not a regular viewer.  I watched it a few times and was aware that it was on - good for a laugh.

And for the folks who think I'm just a hater, I've offered to help Falkie several times. I offered to edit and clean up his videos. I gave him advice. He didn't listen because he thinks he knows what hes doing. "They like my video work". I'm sure they like him falling asleep on cam. That would have taken me five minutes to clean up. But ya know, just a hater...
