Kid,...

Here are my future predictions...

Watching "V for Vendetta"...

Hoping for similar conclusions...

I will be hiding on my mountain waiting for the "Aliens", from the backside of the Moon, to save what they can...

(Since both extraterrestrials and terrestrials are both there and the moon was brought here from somewhere else)...

Dudes and Dudettes,...

I, myself, forgive Johnny B,...

I understand he is not a "Bomar", who has worked 18 years with 3 days of break...

But then again, I, Bomar, freak out about once every 6 months...

Thank you Johnny B, for not freaking out on air...

PS: I still like President Obama...

Bitter? Just because my hero has feet of clay? What, me worry? I'm moving on to images of Melania Trump. By the way, we have been making aliens for a long time. It is extraterrestrials or extradimensionals for sure.
Do you think the new guy is a troll?

Please tell me what you think might be said on this string or any other string in this lash up that would be of interest to anyone other than the participants.  Is this rampant paranoia the result of listening to too many conspiracy theorists, many of whom are clearly howling whack jobs, or does it come natural to some folks.  Let's not flatter ourselves, unless certain key words or phrases are used here no one gives a shit about what is said.  Having seen nothing on this website that any reasonable person would construe as warranting the time and attention of a troll or agent, I think you're safe.  However, be sure to let me know in the event you receive a predawn visit from men in black.

I thought getting into the back and forth on this string might be fun but if I am under suspicion by you or anybody else reading this you should have me blocked.  PEACE OUT

Let look at reality, arguing about old emails is arguing about the conclusion of WW2, because you just bought a book of that past era and I found a flaw in the governmental official's logic of the time...

Computer tech has changed over the years, but the government does not upgrade...

FYI: Government computers still run on 1970's COBAL programs, true some have been upgraded to Windows 98, NT 4.0, 2002 Unix, and Novell 5.0... (all are still 2002 or earlier tech)...

I would only hope our governmental officials would take the initiative to find a better technology to use...

You are talking pure horse shit.  Nobody, but nobody had their own private servers on which they knowingly processed and stored classified material and then attempted to destroy the evidence.  Haven't you been paying attention attention to what has come out of the investigations.

And we all remember the Ayres debacle!

Sometimes low-tech is good tech. I heard somewhere that some of our nuke bases are still using floppy drives and that various German and Russian agencies are reverting to typewriters and flash-paper (they don't know that we can detect by sound and stroke but,, whatever.) Likewise short burst SW, ideally encrypted but even just the good old "number stations", and one-time pads still can't be broken (unless like the hot Russian spy a few years back you catch the people.) But on a more personal side: "a country boy can survive" with SHTF, maybe, or at least longer. (Liked your comments on MITD about cities being killed off. Don't agree but funny stuff and Heather sorta cut you off and dissuaded/ignored your comments. Guest though commented on them. Funny stuff? Urbanization, Agenda 21 (and beyond,) central travel systems are just a way for depopulation and control grids. BTW, what ever happened with the idea that all farm animals were going to be chipped or tagged? Still on?

Call me friggin crazy but I still have a nostalgia for a time in which we had bombers constantly up there to take them (all? us? world?) out if needed. Subs and land-based are cool but the idea and logistics of keeping planes up is awesome.
ps: Peter Davenport has a cool idea of using commercial stuff as a passive radar system that would be, at least as the previous military stuff, for whatever (he is into UFOs of course but could be used for other things.)

By the way, JB also implied he bought a Soviet era Russian fighter plane back when he was on "Coast". I asked about it, of course he never answered, he never does.

If he's got one, he's most likely not flying it. Parts are hard to come by for those old Migs, plus the cost of having it hangared. There's an old nutter in Auckland who collects old airplanes and I see him fly around once a week or so when I'm working on the bay. I wouldn't be afraid to say it costs him tens of thousands a month for his stuff, but this guy is monied.

Nope. Doesn't matter the technology, Hillary used an insecure, non-approved computer platform for sensitive government communications that broke every security regulation and policy in the book. When caught she lied, and continues to lie, about it. It's that simple.

No, the NRO is an interagency body to coordinate the use of orbital surveillance vehicles between the shit-ton of intelligence agencies the US government seems to need. I know because I almost went to work for the Europeon equivalent back in the mid-90s and the US had, maybe still does, a bandwidth sharing program. Almost nobody, except the Russians, Chinese, and to an extent the Indians and Japanese, have their own independent orbital lanes nor down- and up-link capability without leasing bandwidth off NRO platforms.

Response:

2. Now it is insecure, when used it was secure ... After 10 plus hearings define by republican't Congressional Hearing not illegal nor a crime...

3. Asked about governmental monitoring of cattle in the field with implanted RFI chips ...

Those chips, if existing implanted in the cattle, would have been monitored directly or indirectly by the NRO...

I know this is not a political thread but since this election seems to be JBW's cause celeb and BOMAR tends to wax political now and then,  I don't think I'm too far out of line in posting it.

All that follows comes under the heading of unsolicited opinion and is in no way advocacy of any candidate as I think you will see.  My original intent in putting pen to paper (or in this case finger to iPad) in order to lay out my thoughts on the 2016 presidential race for evaluation as sort of a self-applied sanity check.  Take it for what it's worth or reject it completely as you see fit.  I am sharing it with others only to see whether the dilemma I seem to be faced with is common to voters or just me overthinking the issue.

I have voted in every election since Johnson vs. Goldwater and this is the first time I have felt that there is no best choice.  Hilliary is a one-woman crime wave who has taken the art of denying in the face the of undeniable facts and lying with a straight face to a new level of sophistication.  Trump continues to impress as a hot head with a messiah complex whose knee jerk responses and off the cuff comments make one  cringe a lot and wonder whether any part of his brain was involved in his choice of words. Voting for a third party candidate for me is a non starter because it amounts to voting for no one.  Any one of the alternative candidates making it to the White House is as likely to happen as me running a four-minute mile in high heels.

I am an independent that tends toward the middle-right on social issues and to the right-right on fiscal policy and defense to include personal defense (read 2nd amendment right to bear arms).   Having conservative leanings, I keep waiting for Trump to get a grip and stop saying dumb-ass things but he seems to be stuck on stupid.  He has yet to demonstrate to me that he thinks clearly under pressure or that he possesses the gravitas to effectively lead the country.  On the other hand the thought of Hilliary and Bill in the White House again is down-right depressing to me
It would mean that even after all the evidence against this dastardly duo is in, the electorate either doesn't believe their lying eyes or just doesn't care as long as their pocket book and/or pet issue seem to be served; honesty, integrity and trustworthiness be damned!  All this tends to dispel any remaining belief I have that the two party system ensures that qualified candidates with the best interests of the American people at heart are nominated for the presidency.  At this point it seems to me that voting for either Clinton or Trump would be a massive cop out.

What really saddens me is that any one of the republican candidates in the primary field other than Trump would beat Hilliary in a walk. Yet what we have is The Donald who too many voters think is a self absorbed playground bully who lacks the necessary depth and substance to hold high office.  This being the case, It seems likely that we are in for another 4 if not 8 years of disproven socialist dogma, lame  attempts at social engineering, cooked and spun employment and economic statistics, and limp wristed diplomacy backed by a severely weakened military.  (We all know what such feckless foreign policy has done for us over the last 8 years in terms of our world standing and national security.). Barring some sort of reshuffling of a ticket made necessary by an act of God or grand jury indictment, I fear that we as a Nation are about to get the Government we deserve and that scares the hell out of me.

What to do?  At this point I haven't a clue.  But, as it happens my wife and I will be in Brisbane, Australia on Election Day.  I wonder if persistent angst and an intractable sense of doom in anticipation of the consequences of a presidential election irrespective of who wins is grounds for a petition for political asylum.  Enough said.  G'day and good luck to all.

I'll make this short and sweet.  I would be ashamed to say I voted for either one.  I'm pretty sure I've felt that way since Kennedy, when I still was young and believed my vote was worth something.

I am not ashamed to admit that I will never vote for the lesser of evil, because to do so means I would still be voting for evil.  I have not voted for a President since Reagan in 1980.  I pretty much gave up on National politics after the Kennedy Coup D'etat.  Even though I was a teenager when JFK was murdered, it became apparent that this country is not being ran by the elected politicians.  Therefore, except for local politics, we the people are not being represented by the national politicians.  Americans must get over their obsession with “the illusion of inclusion”.

Over the last 27-28 years, America has been under the domination of the Daddy Bush (CIA) franchise; Bush Sr has been running Bush Jr (via handler, Cheney), Bill Clinton (via handler, Hillary) and Obama (via handler, Valerie Jarrett).   Each administration has been leading America closer and closer to Bush’s “New World Order”.  That’s why all the stops have been pulled to make sure Hillary becomes the “Commander in Chief”! I don’t believe anything or anyone will stop her! Nothing!

Certain players in the Federal government, attached to government, above and behind governmentâ€"bankers, for exampleâ€"profit greatly from the “war on crime”, “war on drugs  industry”, medical/ pharma complex, the military industrial complex (war), and weapons industry (Obama’s drones), etc.

As George Carlin once said - It's a Big Club and We Ain't In It!

Elane237

Slavery?  Great!  John B. Well’s ignorant rant last night about slavery gives me an opportunity to challenge him to read Edward Baptist’s new book, “The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery And The Making Of American Capitalism”.  Here 5 key points the author makes:

1. Slavery was a key driver of the formation of American wealth.

2. In its heyday, slavery was more efficient than free labor, contrary to the arguments made by some northerners at the time.  (Why do you suppose our high-paying factory jobs left America?  Free is always better to the greedy capitalists!)

3. Slavery didn’t just enrich the South, but also drove the industrial boom in the North.  ( ex. Wall St was built by Slave labor (Africans stolen from their homeland,  while the land Wall Street is sitting on was stolen from Native Indians)

4. Slavery wasn’t showing any signs of slowing down economically by the time the Civil War came around.  By 1860, the eight wealthiest states in the United States, ranked by wealth per white person, were South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, Connecticut, Alabama, Florida, and Texas â€" seven states created by cotton’s march west and south, plus one that, as the most industrialized state in the Union, profited disproportionately from the gearing of northern factory equipment to the southwestern whipping machine.

And it provided the basis for the creation of sophisticated financial products: slave-backed bonds that Baptist says were “remarkably similar to the securitized bonds, backed by mortgages on US homes, that attracted investors from around the globe to US financial markets from the 1980s until the economic collapse of 2008.”

Slave-backed bonds “generated revenue for investors from enslavers’ repayments of mortgages on enslaved people,” Baptist writes. “This meant that investors around the world would share in revenues made by hands in the field. Thus, in effect, even as Britain was liberating the slaves of its empire, a British bank could now sell an investor a completely commodified slave: not a particular individual who could die or run away, but a bond that was the right to a one-slave-sized slice of a pie made from the income of thousands of slaves.”

5) The South seceded to guarantee the expansion of slavery.
There are many competing explanations for what moved the South to secede. Baptist argues that the main driving reason was an economic one: slavery had to keep expanding to remain profitable, and Southern politicians wanted to ensure that new western states would be slave-owning ones.

So go ahead, JB Wells!  I dare you to sober up long enough to actually read this book or any real historical book (and there are many ) on the real deal about slavery!

Then compare that knowledge to what we see going on today in America as Daddy Bush’s  “New World Order” turns the entire planet into a “virtual slave plantation”!
