Why the hell is someone taping that and not trying to save the cat?  Did the person taking the video throw the cat out there in the first place?  Why are you even posting this?  I don't want to see a cat fall to its death.

Actually the cat does this all the time according to the youtube video it's from. I think she was sneaking outdoors because she was in heat. That's why the big black and white cat was chasing her.
Our old cat Sassy used to go out thru the 2nd floor balcony door and up on the roof of our house, which is 2 1/2 stories with the attic. She'd chase the squirrels around on the roof until they'd jump over onto the the big 100 year old maple tree branches. 9 times out of 10 she made the jump successfully. If she didn't she be by the backdoor meowing to get back in!

That's a relief.  Sorry I got so touchy.  It looked pretty freaky.  I thought she was still falling at the end but now see that she is actually running around the corner.   Rereading my post I sounded like a real jerk  .
