Ya well, I'm suggesting this all go to the leghumper thread and let folks have some topical consistency here.

What say Starr? :o

That’s very metron of you, brig. Thanks for answering a question that no one asked.  ;D

You're Welcome!   ;D

I thought it was, at least, on topic.  I could be wrong.

Nah! Brig’s always been cool with me. Besides, why would I when you’re still acting like a hugely needy faggot?! Target acquired. :D

Lots of rubble in this destroyed church scene.  Not sure if it was a result of a fire or an explosion.

The postcard is smooth and shiny on the front, just like a real photograph.  It has regular paper texture on the back and it isn't glossy like the front.

A .01c stamp? How old is that one?

Hard to tell because there were a lot of years that the 1 cent/stamp for postcards was in use.  From July 1, 1898 to Jan. 1, 1952.  Currently it costs 35 cents to mail a postcard.  The rates for postcards and stamps, etc. went up just a few days ago, on January 27, 2019.

Tnx - the clothing seems to me to put it maybe 1920s or 30s perhaps. I love looking at these things.

QuoteThe Hi Lo sat for decades at the interesection of 37th and Central Avenue right at the border of Minneapolis and Columbia Heights. Across the street on the Heights side there was a Bridgeman's restaurant (now gone) famous for their Lollapalooza sundae. They tore down the Hi Lo a few years ago and I believe a CVS pharmacy sits in its place.

P-D in Bisbee, Az.
Is that the place you hangout in front of and ask for money from strangers going in and out?
