Can't listen live right now because I'm a bit busy, but I'm actually really interested in this show. I dig Amy. If there is a way to listen to archived shows I'll definitely subscribe.

This may have been mentioned, but I'm exhausted and can't search this entire thread. Is this show available for download?

It'll be on the torrents but, I'd pay 5 bucks a month for this.

I'm gonna have to catch the rest on replay or maybe archives down the road.  So far, so good Amy.  Sound quality is quite good.  My amateur's advice is maybe dial back the pace a bit.  Take a few more pauses to let us digest the info.   :)

Budd Hopkins is the guy who hypnotized Strieber. After he died even Whit and Anne said he asked leading questions, used questionable methods, etc.

Carol Rainey (Budd's ex-wife) had some choice words too.

Whitley Strieber on BUDD HOPKINS.(August 22, 2011)
"He gave his life to us, and he deserves no less from us than the greatest respect we can offer."

Anne Strieber on BUD HOPKINS. (April19,2013)
"what really appalled me about Bud, he would find women, who…being big city women, professional women, well educated, but they were having trouble finding a partner, it was the classic single woman, lonely single woman syndrome, and so he would hyptonize these women and lead them on with leading questions…the real problem with bad hypnotism is leading questions, and convince them that they had been impregnated by aliens, had an alien baby that had been taken from them. Now you had these women with a ticking biological clock, who are being convinced of something like that, it’s heartbreaking, it’s heartbreaking, and then, i hate to tell you this, should i tell you? then he would have sex with them…He was a snake."

"I supported what he was doing for many years, until the facts in front of me said that this was a deceptive and dangerous business"

I honestly don't know. I was off on a tangent there. Sound's a-lot like Hopkins, though.

So the DTRN live chat is for the Bell Philes show and not for Amy then?

That's what it looks like for me, too.

I forgot this would have a thread. I'm liking the show so far. The guest's volume is a little loud to me. Besides that, the audio quality is way better than Heather and Hoagie's. Show is better than Midnight and Dave's.

Back - from the comments sounds like she is holding it together rather nicely

She reminds me a little of Hughes. This has been a treat. Love the bumper music too.
