Eric Clapton sounds better here than on anything he ever did solo. Well, other than the soundtrack to the movie Rush.

...

Heh.  Why did we lose Tom Petty and not Eric "High on Heroin while My baby fell off the balcony" Clapton?

I like Gilmour, I love (Wish You Were Here,) and he wrote that. I just think Waters gave Pink Floyd more unique originality. Those peculiar background ramblings of English drunks and the like, left with him. Not to mention, an amazing singing voice and real sense of soul.

I know, it always has to be the Stevie Ray Vaughan's for some reason...

Next time, I'll whine even louder about how my weed was stolen. Thanks.

Seems like a justifiable reason to lament to me.

I liked The Final Cut but I agree, The Wall was their greatest album. Notice, that was the last album Roger Waters was involved in.

The Final Cut was almost entirely Roger Waters. Many consider it his first solo album. Dave Gilmoure barely played on it, Nick Mason didn't play, and I don't recall if Rick Wright was involved.

Roger might be gay but his solo stuff was still better than Pink Floyd was without him

Agree. I suppose that makes me metagay.

Does this mean that you saw that faggy band perform Waters' faggy concept album live while that faggot Waters was still performing with them as a fag? Otherwise, I don't understand how a fag--like you--you could have been let down, unless your faggy imagination led you to believe that it just wasn't going to be faggy enough without that fag, Roger Waters, performing live.

You call that living? Fag. GAY.

EDIT: added a few more "fags." YOLO!

To be gay, is still superior - in spades - to being Jackstar.

I have listened to all of David Gilmours solo albums and they all suck. Roger Waters stuff is better but his lyrics radiate cold shafts of broken glass and not everyone is into that. Rick Wright's solo stuff was good too bad he didn't make more music. Syd's stuff was hit or miss mostly miss but maybe it's because I'm not a boomer that took acid,  gigolo aunt was LIT as fuck tho!

I dont get that into Visual Kei bands but they are one of the better ones. Pretty much all Visual Kei bands have guitar virtuoso that can shred so you have to respect them no matter what they are dressed as.

Uruha is a god damn legend.

Circuit V Panther will always be my favorite ladyboy guitar virtuoso tho.

I donít enjoy pink floyd. Donít hate me. I enjoy the solo stuff even less, not that I listened to it. Self reflective indulgence glued together with eurofagness and tranquilizers sounds like to me. Ok I do like the tune Fearless... Once on a spinning random tunes cast I think I heard MV play some solo Waters tune that I enjoyed. And Dark Side Of The Moon I know is some kind of masterpiece or whatever but I like Easy All Starís Dub Side Of The Moon Mo Betta.

Pink Floyd is often an acquired taste only to be savoured in certain quantities and certain times.
