i recall it simply being called the ASVAB test.

edit:   and it was administered by military people.
BTB Battery test is done to determine eligibility... or has this old memory faded.. I remember I aced a few sections and went in as an E-3, non commissioned officer in 6 months. Surprised the shit out of me.

I am less and less convinced that it is simply old age or a failing memory and not outright, purposeful deception on the part of Senda.  Perhaps he was just one of their early test subjects chosen to ensure that the test was not too difficult for mere mortals and those not gifted?

Perhaps, but I prefer to think he's just full of shit.

Incidentally can one of his spies give an update on his current status? Did he recieve last night well? Is his phone dead?

LOL!  I will leave it to the mole and Who to give the exact post but you can imagine the usual laundry list of reasons.  I told him he was being taken to school both on the show and in chat.  his reply;  NO one takes me to school!  LOL!  Good 'ol Falkie!  It was nice to hear you call in YP.

I had went back to Falklandistan and Spock and I were trying to get him to call in.  He said he would refute everything in a short video........wait for it........later

Well clearly George did not have the courage to face the enormous volumes of allegations and rumors that are floating around out there. What will the future bring for him, only time will tell.

Until next time America!

Why do we need another Falkie thread?

It is not...he was just the focus of gossip after his EODR and GabCast appearances...after last night's show, it seems most people have had their fill with the topic of George Senda for the time being...

Now, we move on to other burning stories other than Falkie...

One last Falkie Q.  I had conked out while listening to the show.  Kind of woke up at one point and thought there was some talk about Falkie working at IBM!?!   I am hoping that was real - If I have started to dream about  Falkie and all this shit  I have serious issues.

George claimed that he wandered into an IBM facility off the street, found an open door with a group of confused programmers hovering over a monitor trying to solve a programming glitch, he asked them to step aside and he immediately solved the problem...they were of course all impressed by his abilities...

There are sooooo many other good shows and podcasts out there rather than MITD.  I was just listening to one this morning I was linked to through Facebook.

It held my attention as I was working.  Now, I never thought I would post that Mr. Bell made a bad business decision, but I am.  Five hours with Ms. Wade is a bad business decision.

There you have it for posterity.  Time will tell.

I asked george to use the land line but he will not use the land line phone because he does not want to have any one noory to have that number.  And because i asked him to use the land line he removed that post and said that i insulted him. What ever. I did not insulted him in the posts to ask him to call in.

I'm sorry, but I have bad Falkenese hangover this morning.

That is a particular gem. He did it just like that even though he  hasn't a clue how to use the applications on his ipad. We're talking low level firmware here (IBM). My younger brother is a very good low level s/w engineer (now works for Sony in the UK), but has worked in defence comms/simulator companies too. From what he's told me (limited because a lot is commercially and/or militarilly very sensitive), it's frequently mentally difficult and seldom just 'solving' shit. He told me of when he started at a new firm and was put on a project that due to everyone and it's dog sticking their oar in was way over budget and behind schedule. His reply (when asked his view) was to begin again; "we'd love to, but it's too political and they won't buy it". After another six or so months of head scratching they did in fact begin again. Bruv led the team and 18 months later the project was complete and worked. No-one as far as I'm aware just wandered in off the street to help.

You never know! Maybe George has a story about visiting England too!

The eye rolling would be a sight to see.

I was sent to Bell Labs in Princeton, NJ to train when I was a defense s/w engineer. I can assure everyone that no one walked in from the street at any IBM facility, much less walked in and "solved" a computer problem that IBM PhDs were working on. And yet, he couldn't manage a simple Skype call.

Another Walter Mitty fantasy.

Master Falkie was in line to recive the Presidential Medal of Freedom at the tender age of ten. JFK just had to get his head shot of in Dallas, so there went that opportunity. Washington politics and in house fighting lead to the snubbing of Mr. Senda. I think we can all agree it was the greater of the two tragedies...

Absolutely. Presidents come and go, but how many savants win the Medal of Freedom before puberty?

It keeps me awake at night, too. The nerve of some of those politicians. Discusting.
