Just got home. Didn't do any fishing. I had my stuff out but it was too hot to drag my big canoe down to the lake.

Damn skippy it's been too hot.  We were hovering in the upper 90's here for like a week with like 90% humidity.  I go out very little under those conditions especially in the middle of the day.

It didn't actually get too hot to work outside until today. I started getting sick packing up and closing everything up. It got up to 97 today but the humidity was still only 50-60% so if you got in the shade it wasn't too bad. But I was in the sun for about two hours parking tractors, watering fruit trees and winding up hoses and loading all my crap into the truck. I stopped at Texas A&M to eat dinner with my daughter. That was nice. I hadn't seen her since before Memorial Day.

We always compare suntans. I have her beat again this year.

WHAT...........Heather you are NOT an Angel? get out!  hahaha

Are you with me that heathers thinks she's a guest not the host, she is back to her usual making it all about her going on about a topic and when the guest try's to interject on her point she talks Louder making him having to settle back...so was she getting better or was it that the past recent guests didn't have topics she knew anything about, case and point tonight she has experienced tonight's topic and won't ask let answer...thanks for the vent

Arizona would be fine.  I'd prefer to be up around Flagstaff though where it is not so hot.

For a farmer tan. Haha. Kidding. PW n then stained my deck a few days ago. Jeez. The heat combined with fumes was a doozy. Fun times n the humidity meant bad drying but put if off for so long so had to do.

I will cut her some slack tonight. I don't know all the facts but my impression is that Heather is nervous to share her nde. I personally hope she does. Perhaps this is why she is a little different tonight?  Heather please share, I won't judge.  :D

It actually cooled off the last 2 days due to thunderstorms.  The highs have just been around 80 which is a nice reprieve.

Let me add I hope the guest is being completely sarcastic when he praises Heather for repeatedly talking about her NDE and telling how the show is epic and how he's never had a host before have a NDE and how is listeners must just feel oh so lucky to get to hear her NDE

...he has to be right, right?....right

By the way, Miku, I agree with you completely  about hell.  I have a hard time believing that a loving God would doom people to a permanent hell.  I can see sending them to hell for a long, long time if they've been evil but I'd give them another chance after that.  I do believe Hell is a real place though.  Too many NDE stories to totally dismiss.

Actor Curt Jurgens NDE was also quite hellish. He was not a religious man either.

"I had been looking up into the big glass cupola over the operating room. This cupola now began to change. Suddenly it turned a glowing red. I saw twisted faces grimacing as they stared down at me. Overcome by dread I tried to struggle upright and defend myself against these pallid ghosts, who were moving closer to me. I could no longer shut out the frightful truth. Beyond doubt, the faces dominating this fiery world were faces of the damned. I had a feeling of despair, of being unspeakably alone and abandoned. The sensation of horror was so great it choked me, and I had the impression I was about to suffocate."

I was most interested in the hellish NED's after i somewhat had one although i didn't die. I did not take it very well at first because my mind was made up that God was not real and if he was he was an @$$hole. I was terrified of God at first i viewed him as basically the guy was so good hes evil if you don't do exactly what he says he will send you to hell for eternity. Because that's what Evangelical western religion teaches but then i found UR by accident. I wasn't even looking for it, it found me and at first i didn't believe it.

After a lot of prayer and searching for the truth i have come to the conclusion God loves all of us even atheists and "Hitlers". You will be much better off being a Christian because sooner or later your going to be one anyways (Romans 14:11). I know how hard it is to believe with no proof though so i don't push my religion on people. God works in mysterious ways and mine was really unusual and not exactly pleasant.

Think it's more likely that he's so used to hearing these from people, each of whom now fancies himself a prophet, that he's just running through the platitudinous superlatives.

Alaska doesn't have them? Weird. You can download some apps that play them on your phone. I use them sometimes when traveling or when we get our usual drought (which will be ended by storms and floods.)

I'll elaborate it's just not her NDE she is going on about and not letting the guest be a guest...she's also telling him about what a previous guest has told her about NDEs and going on about the past guests hypothesis and ideas...instead of the present guest telling his and this guest is interesting, well spoken, and was asked to be on this show and shouldn't have to compete with the host to talk and there's plenty of dead air time (no pun intended) for Heather to talk after the gues portion of the show ...so talk on Dr. Long

Did you guys see this pic in the news lately? I thought it was cool.
"Pilot captures incredible nighttime thunderstorm photo over the Pacific Ocean"

I have seen 2 thunderstorms here in 15 years. The app would be cool but what I really liked was down in Texas sitting on the porch and you could feel the storm coming.

....and more often I'm sure he runs out of superlatives to describe them
