So..how's  hoagland's  show doing?
Meh. He's doing more consciousness shows now. We did get some crazy round-table action Friday though. He even threw in a couple "Archology's".

Russell, please make it so that you and black eyed children dude lose Heather's number. That is my wish. Thank you Russell. Bye.
Since you got me remembering on the old Bill Cooper stuff I downloaded a bunch because I realized that I never archived any. And, subsequently, I had too for hours afterward trying to restore computer (wouldn't recognize mouse or keyboard, very slow, etc.) New keyboard, "safe mode," various reboots, etc and, I guess it is working again. Though who knows what "new programs" I have on it now. Malwarebytes and AVG says clean but....thanks  ;)

I can understand the lack of interest in topics. The paranormal well has all but about run dry, with guests repeating the same stuff over and over again.
old folklore  and the black eyed  children is where it's  at

If she actually had something intelligent to say about I'd be interested but, unfortunately, it continues to be the same sort of condescending BS instead.

That sucks. Better than getting shot though. Not as good as getting some hokey pokey.

What a black magician may look like

This caller is also a doctor who just earned his law degree.

I enjoyed that first hour of open mental patient lines.

There is interesting history and folk-traditions but too much of I suspect her stuff is cobbled-together new-agey "witchcraft" etc. But some topic like the "black books" etc would be interesting if a good guest. Like in Norway (and from immigrants) they were banned, hidden etc especially after the pietism movement etc. But still some are found in attics, barns, etc. Interesting stuff, even just for sociological reasons.

Only because she's probably a dabbler as opposed to a true Wician or Druid or whatnot.

Though suprisingly, two of her best shows were the ones with the guy talking about the Mexican Death Cult, and the British ceremonial magician that answered my question on Alan Moore.

Did she ever mention being a Witch before she hooked up with MITD?
I don't think so.

One goes in the torrent world and youtube downloaders and one has to expect some stuff. The thing that is weird is that it never happened before (using a seedbox overseas for initial d/l and then SFTP to d/l to computer here.) So? 'Someone' concerned about his stuff only??

The lady who made wands that Dave interviewed some months back might be a good guest. She did sound interesting getting into stuff that Dave could not fully comprehend like steampunk magic.

Caveat, sorry in advance for mentioning only Nordic "witch" and healing traditions and secret books in my post. Racist!

Much of the stuff in them is related to treating illness, of people, livestock, crops, etc more practical. But also, I've heard, our "Dutch," really German and Bohemian etc, immigrants also had some tradition in similar but even more "obscured" because of the religious nature of them. But you see remnants/basics of them on barns etc.

Wouldn't that technically be a Kabala practitioner?
Different branch of the Tribe. The "good" ones went to England and/or Nordic regions and NA. Or even South America, Prestor John and whatnot.  ;)

I thought Prestor John was susposed to be from China or the Far East?

Not from, initially, but in, but yeah you're right. Though I think some thought after contacting the rich tribes in the 'new world' with all the gold etc that speculation happened (of course some at the time thought they had gotten a new route to the Orient(India) so would make, some, sense?)
