This guy tonight is a "spiritual warrior" so does that mean he wears face paint?

Poison Ivy- the only plant that should be illegal.

No kidding!!!  Its all over the place in my yard.  I went out and pulled a lot of it tonight as I already have a case of ivy.  I covered myself from head to toe.  I threw the clothes in the washer and took a long shower afterwards.

Well, in the past, he's worked as a bouncer and a wrestler so I think warrior is probably an appropriate word.  :D

the herbicide that dare-not-speak-its-name worked great on some poison ivy I had at one place. Though the best is to dig it up at the roots. We will see is evil herbicide does a better job. It is a weird thing how some get, and can get really bad, and others not at all? As a kid I had a friend's dad go to the ER because he was burning brush covered in it and got into his throat and lungs. Poison Ivy and Oleanders- do not burn, or, at least wear mask and have smoke going away from you!

This is one of Bill Bean's photos from his childhood back in the early 70's.  LOL, yeah it is questionable but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

It matters to me if people are profiting by supposedly helping others but I gather Bean accepts no pay for his work except for maybe a few travel expenses.

I used to never get it when I was younger and I was highly allergic to pollen in my youth.  Now I'm sensitive to poison ivy but not to pollen.  Go figure!

Wishing there wasn't an hour of open lines before the guest.

Wonder if he'll talk about money ball and the Athletics?

There is a medical or science about it. Lots of people here (Central Texas) get allergies but it can take years of living here to finally get them ("Cedar Fever".)  Likewise I had an uncle who was bit a lot by various bees etc as a kid never a problem then got bit by a wasp or something and shock, ER, and almost died. Had to carry that Epipen for years after. But then docs tested and said, basically, you are ok now and don't need? Weird stuff about allergies and the way the body modifies against them (or causes bad stuff in trying to do so.) I haven't evaluated but so MUCH money being made here with "doctors" or "clinics" about allergies. Some maybe true but, I suspect, many not.

That's a bullshit picture, Heather.  The kid's eyes are looking down giving the illusion that the eyes are black.

I used to get allergy shots when I was a kid but they made me feel terrible so my Mom said no more.  The doctor went into a hissy fit and both of them sparred words for about 5-10 minutes.  The doctor said some stuff about shots helping him and my Mom said well you don't look so hot, your face is red and ruddy.  Anyway, we stopped going to the doctor and my allergies faded.

I went through hell with allergies as a kid too and got the shots for years. Funny thing, as an adult I have no allergies anymore (other than dust mite poo and most are, at least, sensitive to that) and I rarely ever get sick.  ;)

A famous Astrologer and actress neighbor that I became friends with, a bit, much older but I would let her bring her dogs over etc and then when she died helped her family deal with it. (Never analyzed or bought her stuff but, later, saw that stuff was true (photos and coorespondence with many Hollywood people and Republican fundraisers even.) Anyway she subscribed to a local "doctor" who specialized in allergies and homeopathy. I saw in the paper that he was sanctioned for "inappropriate sexual relations" with patients and sexual harassment with staff. Not a big thing, a real doctor got in trouble for prescriptions to his son and his friends, one died. A "good neighborhood" also where people have the money for homeopathy and "friendly" doctors for scripts. Sad.

Wouldn't a witch, familiar with older tech, not be amazed about "technology" or data-mining?
