Did she kill herself at the end? TL;DL...

We're not in the show's demographic anymore. Even Art Bell alluded to this show being for old lonely men who are desperate to hear a female voice at night.

Holy crap, when did he say that?

Holy crap, when did he say that?

During his final BellGab interview. When he was talking about why thinks good ol' Heath was a great choice. Talking about how he thought a female voice late in the night would be a hit.

Ah I remember that. Rife with Freudian slips.

I guess I don't remember that...wow, really creepy...perhaps those comments are what initiated some of the "romantic" gossip around BG...

So what was the consensus of the first 5 hour show? I saw a lot of posts, but not a lot of different users posting...did RCH win the battle of the last 2 hours?

5 hours of MITD is one stop shopping for all my advice needs! Cats, Trump talk, world politics, and deep scientific discorse. Heather/MITD has it all!

The romantic gossip happened because of those who listened to the test episode and had a functioning brain. Although I think it's more a weird control thing than an in and out thing.

I just heard "the interview" for the first time a couple weeks ago. I don't know if that's the same thing as the test episode. And, to me at least, THAT one seemed really creepy, just the tones of the voices and subtle flattery, etc. After hearing that it kind of cast a different shadow over our current MITD situation for me.

Yeah, gross right?

Art's confusing himself with MITD's current audience.  All two of them.

the cringiest part is when Art starts talking about "little to nothing on" photos with her talking all sexy and coy

Congratulations, Heather, on your first successful 5 hour show.  Excellent work!

I don't believe starmtn001 is a lonely old guy.  Please feel free to correct me, if I'm mistaken.

I'll refrain from commenting because she seems like a nice person...

Yes.  GNS, while MITD is just a sad situation.

I did have a zinger locked and loaded but I try to use my powers for good.  ;)

Well, you have one correct.  I'm a woman and I'm definitely not lonely. ;) ;D

Admirable.  There's no need to lower ourselves to the depths of the boys across the pond.

Refrain?  About what VQ?  I'm not afraid to speak up for someone who is not popular with some of my friends.

Standing up to one's enemy is one thing.  Standing up to one's friends is much more difficult.

I'm sorry VQ.  I thought your refrained comment was a negative one.  I apologize for jumping to conclusions. :)

I had to really dig but I finally heard this famous show and this statement! On the test call. Yes, it was rather cringy.

It was also interesting to hear the appreciation of BellGab expressed at the outset.

There will be a few people rapidly scurrying to sniff the pile, with sock-girlfriend in hand?  :-X
