rifelman?

I used to love that show when I was a little kid! I thought he was the paradigm of a great father at the time. Then I caught an episode not too long ago and I thought he seemed like a psycho who would have his son taken away from him in this day and age  :P

I didn't know they had sets.  I remember the toys but weren't into them and didn't pay much attention.  However I did try to collect as many Matchbox cars to make my own sets (military, police, etc.)  Having the micro machine sets sounds cool though.  I must look them up.

You used to be able to buy them in sets of 4 or 6 in a horizontal display box.. in one you might get an F14, SR71, F18, and maybe a C130 or something weird. so you would have to shop accordingly, same with the land vehicles.. usually it was a mix of a tank, jeep, medical vehicle, and something else.. some were not to scale with one another, especially the large capacity jets. they were about 1/5 the size of a matchbox car. maybe even smaller. eventually when i outgrew them as a hobbie they started adding LED head/tail lights in the cars.

There's a channel on cable that plays all the old western series and movies. I don't remember the name of the channel.

Thanks for the info.  Having everything in the same scale is important.  Hmm...I can't remember why I didn't get into these back then.  I would've loved to have a massive collection that I could set up in a small area.
