Wow Jack, that totally caused a memory flood. I haven't thought about that since 1985. I was ten. How old were you?

I wish I had all my childhood stuff.  Yeah, GoBots were the poor man's version of Transformers.  I had some too.

I had the original Optimus and the original Ultra Magnus.  They were like twin brothers, since Ultra Magnus out of his battlesuit was cast from Optimus Prime's mold.

Nick doesn't know anything lol

Did anyone catch Nick Redfern's appearance on the Cryptozoology episode of "Penn and Teller's: Bullshit"? Classic stuff.

Some of the TZ reboot episodes were very good. I'll never forget the one with a very young Christian Slatter.

I enjoyed them too, especially as a kid. I have an episode or 2 as MP4. It was low budget but well written. Many episodes were hybrids of the classic TZ, like merged stories. I don't remember the Slater one off the top of my head, but vividly remember one about the mom who could stop time, loaded with cold war messages, eventually the episode ends in nuclear exchange. It was based on the one where the bank teller was addicted to reading books combined with elements of another vintage episode. TZ is easily my favorite show of all time. And the reboot was so fun.

Tales From The Darkside was also really fun.

Anyone remember Micronauts and/or Shogun warriors?

Heather needs to learn how to gauge when the calls are getting stale. Wolfman was completely incoherent and then decided to give a hack psychic cold reading of someone's guardian angel on air. It shouldn't have gotten to that point.

I've found he's been that way every time he calls though.

I have tons of worn out G.I. Joe stuff and Transformers too. My mom just kept it all, and I now have my basement bar decorated with all that stuff.

Exactly. So either don't take the call, or take it to appease him but move on if he doesn't bring anything new or interesting.

G.I.Joe or Ken?

;D No Ken, but I always wondered about the ambiguous anatomy of my sister's Ken doll. Now we have metrosexuals and hipsters. That's not a coincidence.
