Limited-run series like a six-episode or even 13 episode run is becoming popular. British programs have done well with this format.

It's cheaper as well. Plus there are better chances of getting higher profile actors to get involved.

norland2424

did she just compare this to x files  ???

I think those scenes with William were very obviously them imagining what it would be like if they had raised him.

This is going all over the place. Ask the man about the themes of his work and why he's drawn to them.

yes   wormhole  please anyone

why do you think  the real  search for truth  is finding God   ?  you base this on what ?  why is this so important to you ?

British shows are the best. I get Acorn TV for all the great series.

Heather please stop talking about your favorite part of an episode and let the guest expand on his thoughts!

Why would she just compare MITD to the X-files...stop this now

DeltaBravo

This whole thing is awful and awkward AF.

Taco Bell

Ask if what kind of smokes they use on the show.

Kolchak

Too bad she didn't ask a follow up on the second movie. I've never heard him asked if he'd do anything different if he could get a mulligan. I liked how personal it was, but clearly it didn't find its audience.

only 25 minutes in buddy...there.is.hope.

Yeah, but he's probably only on for the first hour.

Kolchak

The question about if the X Files ended because it discouraged trust in government reminds me of when Larry King asked Jerry Seinfeld if his show was cancelled.

Both. It's about the balance  ;)

It's not quite Chris Farley interviewing Paul McCartney.

People gotta remember this is Heather's big interview. I don't expect a polished interview like Art or Knapp would do.

Half way in, hopefully we move out of fan territory into interview territory quickly.

One of my very favorite Larry King moments was when he asked Tony Hawk, "how important is the skateboard to what you do?"

True. Not understanding the first scene of the new series right out of the gate was rocky. But the question about which conspiracies he subscribed to was good.

CF: Remember when you sang Helter Skelter?
PM: Yeah.
CF: That was awesome!  ;D

It's a logical question to answer, as the X-Files final season came after 9-11. Heather really did need to frame that question better.
