What if the simian is in a short skirt?

If she doesn't have any hair on her knuckles, and she's into that sort of thing, then have at it man!

Is that one of those symbiotic relationship thingies?

Only if she calls you the next day  ;D

Chief, if you're out there, please call in again tonight.

Auslandia

I think heather is doing the best she can. She'll never be Art so I guess we can stop expecting her to be.  I do wish she'd stop baiting questions with her own answers but that's sort of a personality trait that's hard to shake.  I don't listen live anymore though.  I like to read Bellgab before I listen.  Like last night...not gonna bother based on what I've read here.

I think the term you're looking for is "desperation."

EDIT:

A more specific term might be "juicing" the calls.

Yes and as Auslandia put it, "baiting" the questions with her own answers.

The English is already WAY too good. Scale it back before show time, would ya?  ;)

Woks Wong

Why constantly blame heather?  This is a tripartite relationship: the guests have been rambling fools, or just making statements without a shred of evidence, and about 25% -- 33.33...3% of the callers have been wackos/weirdos.  Some dude who had a method left the show, which left a vacuum, which is being filled by a tripartite relationship straining for space.  The current host needs to control that vacuum better, but the other two elements need to improve. it's kind of simple: no more ranting [aside: linguists have studied this shit: people have a 20 second concentration period in live conversations, which means, question, brief (20 seconds or so) answer].  After dealing with the rants, try to have decent content.  Baby steps...

I have learned your ways, so my language has improved. It's called 'bootstrapping'.

Auslandia

Based on the callers who normally get through to the show I'm going to have to assume that most everybody out there is a dunce of the lowest order.

WW is just a victim of typecasting. Hard to escape from that.

Maybe then Art should stop hyping her up as the next Art and having her copy his show. How can we stop comparing him to Art when she even plays the same exact bumper music and tries to copy him?
Not that it matters since this show has no future whatsoever with this sudden retirement and him not even being involved part time until she has become more of a experienced host.

Medically, you are merely stating the obvious.  Had you said that about a dog/kitten/tortoise/baby, it'd be an interesting statement.

Ciardelo

Damnit Art needs to stop promoting Heather! How dare he? The countless over and over promotion? What the hell man? He's on day after day telling us she is just like him! How stupid does he think we are?

My best guess is that she's just continuing Art's show & never really intends to do things her way or have her own spin. It doesn't really bother me except the intro song.

Ciardelo

Clearly, Art isn't on the show anymore--how dare he do this?

Factor in the acquired ADD that seems to be going around and it's probably more like ten seconds now. I love that word "tripartite." Usually it gets applied to somewhat more exalted entities than Heather, her recent guests and the current listening audience. But O'Reilly would pin a medal on you for using that word.

Ciardelo

Doesn't Art know that he needs to come here and answer for this?

Ciardelo

Forcing people to listen, forcing people to pay. What the hell man?

I'm from South Africa, it didn't take much energy.

Ciardelo

How can we go on? Listening to this show we think is a wreck? Who the hell do they think they are by forcing us to listen? Forcing us to post how bad it all is?

Woks Wong

Stating, "I fail the Turing test", doesn't mean you pass it, btw.

I'm from America. We're listless and under-educated.

Ciardelo

yes, it's tiresome to post how much of a wreck this is, but I do it out of love. I just want what's best.

It helps Art to tell him how fucked up this all is. Most BellGabbers feel the same way.

Then no one should complain that people compare her to Art either.

You are just an element in this, an element that makes the typical comments you are making.  This train wreck is occurring, people are watching, and there are always people that say "you're wrong to watch".  You're predictable.

Ciardelo

yes, I post out of concern. The man is clearly nuts. I just wish he would stop making us listen. Damn that Kieth Rowland!
