Oh, I get it, the guest believes his own lies. Got it.

This interview shall not pass. lol

Heather is more credulous than other people. Or expects her listeners to be.

It is a trilogy of books, you moron.

lol.  We need smart folks like you around here.

This Martini fellow is worse than Steven Greer, which I, in my medical opinion, didn't think possible.

Who is John Galt?

He was that guy in the bookstore the other week making minimum wage and trying to sell me a copy of Ayn Rand's The Virtue of Selfishness. Used to work for Paul Ryan but his throat wasn't deep enough.

I have to wonder just how deluded he is, if he really believes it or is just a snake oil salesman . . . .

What a coincidence! I have been playing with my penis during this interview. I can multi-task. The pictures on the internet that I am viewing have nothing to do with elongated skulls.
Its 2015, we have video now, pictures are so old school, but hey, whatever floats your boat

You get the same tenacity out of Douglas fans when mistaking your all-in-one-edition of Hitchhiker's Guide as one book....I got it for free.

Heather seems to adore this guy. Of course, Art adored David Jacobs. Perhaps Heather is a good little girl who goes to a fundamentalist Church?

She already played this Black Velvet song.

My NDE is a deeply personal experience.  Any other paranormal experience I could have told on the spot, but not that one.  In fact, that is why I booked Dr. Taylor for last Tuesday night, to talk to him about NDE's.  I made a promise to gather my thoughts on it and tell it; I will and soon.

The photo.  I am soul searching on that.  There are good reasons why I don't want a photo of me published.

A little late to the thread, kid.  I apologize.  I know that I have been one of those that have asked for a pic.  It was always done tongue in cheek.  I don't really care how hot a babe you are.  (Must be pretty hot though with Gumby's reponse of NO!  to a pic) ;D

You are doing a great job.  I still think the show should be renamed 'Heather at the Handle.'  Because you are handling the situation quite well.

Stay tough kid.  I'm listening.

Well, if what you're asking is, can a very experienced musician hear things others can't then hell yeah.  We can.  ;D

But the commonly understood reality is, between the very good cheap guitars and the high end ones, in the hands of a high quality musician, there's a marginal difference in quality of tone, and only the biggest cork sniffers would give a shit about it.   ;D

Digital is a whole different topic.  These days, when you hear "classical" music in movies, you're usually not.  It's sequenced with samples.  Also, amplifiers (for guitar/bass etc.) are also moving out of the picture.  Nowadays people use amp simulators like Amplitube, Guitar Rig and Overloud to record.  You can switch amps, cabs and effects on the fly.

So you could make a Les Paul sound like a Strat.  No problem.  Or even a bass.  :)
Yeah, I appreciate the audio-philes and musicians. But was amazed, years ago, of what a buddy could mix in a sound room and, ill-fated, recording studio. Also the professionalism, not well known, of studio musicians. I like hearing a cough sometimes on old stuff, imagine "that guy" is for posteriity

Train wreck... cant help but watch. Part of me keeps hoping Art will come back and say everything is fixed. The reality is... the dark-ages have arrived.

Yep.  Hope springs eternal, but once his fan base seemed to turn against him that was it.  The stalker was still a problem of course, but the loss of will to prevail and get back to his fans was a more profound blow.  I'm not sure if he'll ever return to broadcasting now.  The worst part is, I can't even blame him.

ChandlersDad

Well, I've done my bit here for god and country. Good night.

I don't know, does she have that ability? Does Noory? It's really an art (that word again) to do it well, without insulting people or getting their backs up. RCH was an unearthly challenge for Art (or anyone), but it was still entertaining. And not having this ability is like walking into a jungle without insect repellant.

Good point making. Tough interviewing with tact is indeed an art. Noory is definitely not an artist in that regard. I don't know whether Heather is or not. Maybe it's smarter to be a kind interviewer at this point in her career. Actually, it probably is.

Deep down he knows, but then he remembers the money.

Heather, who says you need to use your real photo? Here is one that might suffice.

That's my mom! You bastard!

And I did say "seemed."  A bunch of shits posted thousands of awful posts, so the impression was that Everyone was out to get him.  But in truth, it was only maybe 50-75% working Very hard at busting his balls.

I love the great old recordings.  Too much of the new stuff is over produced, synthetic sounding and "too" good sounding.  Way too many plugins and effects added.

In the old days, they would jam it out in the studio and record into a few mics.  Old school.  Love that stuff.

i agree   she should take a page  from  60 minutes interviewers      -no matter what you have to ask good questions  according to the vibe of the guest

ChandlersDad

This guy should be a professor at Liberty University.
