Or.....perhaps she simply is buying this crap!  She thinks that she can tell when someone is telling the truth? Wow. That's delusional.

Nah man she has to try and sell everything no matter how lame it is in order to keep the "take a ride" narrative going and keep her gig going. She'll sell anything no matter how spurious.

No, I think she's relieved to have someone who talks a lot, giving her an easier time.  Anyway, any argument with LA Martinin is at the level of paradigm v's paradigm, and would be pointless.

Probably, but there've been several obvious chances to call him out. She has the ability to do that. She seems to be being easier on him than I'd expect.

so if they needed a platoon to take the giant down, why not call CAS to kill it

or call you and your buddy Gomer Pyle

I so want to get an SG one day. Such a sweet, easy playing guitar! Les Pauls are awesome sounding, of course but I've always found them too bottom heavy for my liking. Right now I only have a Tele but I rarely feel like I need anything else.

The SG was to avoid bearing the weight of the Les Paul for too long back in the 90's. It's about the heaviest Les Paul Gibson ever made. I have a tele, but it's the hollowbody type with humbuckers. My sound needs beef, so I go with the low end.

You are 110% accurate. However, his spotty understanding of physics is 19.5 times more interesting for a listener.

I have a feeling RCH is taking days off to shop for Snooreys Christmas gift.
Dang, for a NASA funded "gatekeeper" and making so much money running the network and controlling Art and Keith he is taking some odd breaks and repeats.

Yeah, he's good but Jeff Beck is the real master of the trem bar!

Indeed. He uses a special roller nut on his Strat.

Okay, that's enough. I was in combat recently, lol, NO giants! AFN aired the New York 'football' Giants. That was it. Now, the guest mentioned a soldier being killed.

I was an Army infantry medic. Please stop lying about soldier(s) being killed. I don't care about the rest.

Rest in peace brothers.

Sounds like it could be the right type of crazy with a good host. This show has Heather sooooo.... pass lol.

Haha - maybe "weird physics" is 19.5 more fun for listeners who aren't physics junkies.  But hearing people use physics terms wrong is like nails on chalkboard to me, and he does it relentlessly.

But RCH does have a guest tonight, Dr. Richard Spence...he's into secret societies and espionage topics apparently.  Might be listenable.  I always like to learn about the sociopathic schemes of our plutocrat overlords.

Apparently.  And it has nothing to do with the thousands of square miles of poppy fields there  ;

"The giant was 19.5 feet tall!"

So in keeping with derailing threads...aside from pickups, amps, etc is there much of a difference between guitars when electric and solid? I know there is? But really based on science (unlike hollow or stuff like fiddles etc where, holes, reverb, types of wood? And even other guitars. Frankly, I'm suspect. BUT, can accept that to a really goo d player, virtuoso etc it can make a difference. But to the normal, run-of-the-mill makes a difference? That huge Steinway make chop-sticks much better (but in your house with no acoustics designed?)

You're hitting on a hotly contested topic :)

Some people claim that different woods change the tone of the guitar.  Others claim it's marketing BS.

I own a 1981 Gibson ES-335 dot and a 2008 Les Paul Class 5 (it's got weight relief holes).  If I tweak the sound with my amp, you can hardly tell the difference.

Acoustically, yes, the 335 sounds like a muted acoustic.  And the Les Paul rings slightly different than a fully solid body LP.  But at the end of the day, when you plug a guitar in, with a lot of adjusting of the tone, and depending on what pickups you have, you can really fool people.

To a GOOD player, he or she will pick a guitar that they will like the feel and mojo of.  With that they will kick ass.  You can't just spend more money to get a better guitar.  I've spent $4k on a guitar (made in the USA custom shop) and $299 ("Crafted in China"), and both guitars are beautiful and I can pull major tone and playing out of them.

To everyone saying they can't wait for open lines: it's gonna be the same mouth breathers who've been calling every other night, not people calling to roast the guest like we actually want.

Too new? Over-played to an extent in the prime? Different vibe? Idk. But you mention and I don't recall old shows with Zep?

Apparently it's a new show; he puts "(replay)" next to the guest's name when he's doing that:

I guess RCH is having trouble getting fresh meat - he recycles his guests an awful lot.  Hell, I wouldn't put up with him either.

As a student heavily into the SCIENCES I understand... I've been there... in fact I usually poke fun at his methods. Tonight I feel thirsty in this shit Desert for a sip of something fresh. The fictional science of Hoogland is far more welcoming than this nonsense.

Dr. MD MD

Trolls? Is he reading Bellgab right now?!

"What do you do with this stuff?"   What you DO NOT do is use it to prove the validity of a bronze age book in the 21st century.

The question is where did the mouth breathers come from?
