But those "someone's" go around trying to find something ugly and/or stupid in everything and everyone, simply because their minds are dull and willfully dark.  But those aren't the people we strive to illuminate and bring joy to with our lives.

Think about the kind stranger who helped you pull out of a tight spot, and the warm brilliant friend who's out there making the world a better place every day, and the clever people whose sole mission in life seems to be making us laugh, and the inspired artists and musicians who selflessly struggle every day to fill your heart with wonder, and the brilliant scientists and doctors devoting their lives to fixing the world's problems and forging a happier healthier life for everyone.  They're out there, like a scattered army of good will and insight blanketing the globe.  And they're listening.

We do what we do for them.  And that always matters.
