Uh, this should be Heater's theme song, since she's drawn to the behavior...  By BG's very own Flying Killer Robot.

And the instaclassic that should be on Bart Ell Legacy Radio:

I've got a few guests lined up, however I'll get to it asap. Thank you for listening.

Fetzer in the rotation any time soon?

Sorry o-gracious leader.  Can you pull that Phil Collins song and put in The Flying Killer Robots twice?

El Chorro

This guy with Vara is like an old-school answering service that people used to use decades ago, but for poor credulous grieving saps.

"My mom passed in January. Does she have any messages for me?"

"Yes. I...I miss...you."

zeebo

Up for some quantum weirdness tonite!  Hope you brushed up on your gluons, muons, and bosons Dave.

I can't mess with the advanced automated system but I do see it is scheduled to play at 8:58, our last song before going classical during Dave hours.

A month later and I'm still wondering who or what is HW "taking back the night" from?

SpookyTim

Vara calling out those who are "petty" about the name of a show. Pot, meet kettle.

Yes I want to know, where did the night go, who stole it, and why didn't I miss it?

Sorry, I'm tired again tonight, may not be on long, I mistakenly put my comment inside the quote. It was:

Yes, and just for the record, I have an ungrounded intuitive speculation that she is planning something not-so-nice behind the scenes, and that we haven't heard nor seen the last of the anti-Keith MITD Dave war. Just sayin'...

I'll book him again in a few weeks. This Saturday Jerry Wills joins me at 8 pm pst, hope to see you there.

SaucyRossy

Hey everyone, how’s MITD been? How many MITD’s are there now? Just one? Anyone have a TLDR, or a wiki?

Any specific guests or shows recently I should be sure to check out?

zeebo

Hey Winnie, I'm up for tonite's show, got my calculator ready in case any formulas come up.

I take this as evidence that Art was losing his mind. That's one of the special qualities he had that made him awesome to listen to late in the night. You never knew if or when he would flip out.

I agree, and as evidence that people who've seen giant ufos and shadow people aren't always as certain of what they see as we might expect.  But I don't think you spend 20 minutes in the dirt waiting for the police as some kind of stunt.

He was an odd duck but that made him interesting.  I think his relationship with his audience over the years paralleled his domestic arrangements:  a guy who walls himself off, but spends all night talking to people.  He was interested in people individually, but collectively we were wingnuts.  It's no wonder he felt little loyalty or obligation to us as listeners.  I didn't expect it.
