Money Orders are not the new cool thing....I think (retarded) is making a point of the dollar amounts, in the hopes that her flock will "get the hint" and send larger amounts than usual.  From what I've seen, the gifts are worthless trinkets.  As for "Mike in Montana"'s 600 dollar money order, that could have been a (retarded) lie, with no way to prove it either way.  Remember she is a liar and manipulator to the hilt.
Actually, money orders in some situations are safer to use. No checking account, credit card, or personal information is exposed. Also, for those selling items online via Craigslist or other similar platforms, postal money orders are one of the bullet-proof ways to get funds when selling items to out of town buyers. Someone sends you a postal money order, you go to the post office to mail the item, cash the postal money order and you immediately know if it is real or not before sending the item out. With cash in hand, no way to get scammed.

Yes, but these are gifts to a woman they worship.

I supported Heather right up until Art's death. Man, she's gone overboard. Dave is 10x the host she ever was and it was very evident right from the start that he was a professional while she is an amateur.

She needs to get it together.

Thanks to the kindness of others she could always drive the shit over.

That's indicative of so many of her supporters.  They sadly can't cover their basic needs, but don't mind paying for Heather's show, as well as sending her donations and gifts.

Yeah, I agree 100%.  I've been in mail order since 1989.....was just saying they aren't a new cool fad or anything as far as I know.  Here's a Ballast Point sculpin on me, cheers.

Dude was riddled with cancer and still eats like a pig. He's also in massive denial about it, with hanging tits that huge, one wonders how that's even possible.

The guy with the 600 bucks at least couched it as pre-payment for his subscription, but now there are two other reports.  Where are these people getting the idea that she's desperate for cash?

Wow, another long timer in mail order. Congrats on the longevity with that. I started with it in the mid 1990's as a side business in conjunction with an existing retail brick and mortar operation and also during the early eBay days (that platform sure has changed, not all for the better).

From (retarded) herself!  Imagine what she says to them in private messages if she's the way she is to them on air.

Yes, the ebay fees made impossible to do well for a lot of us.  But it's so much better now with own dot.com.  Are you still doing the mail order?

Dont you guys take paypal so someone can just use a card?

Ive spent a shitload of money the last couple months buying vape supplies (I quit smoking) and setting up a cheap indoor Theater and I did everything with a card.

I'm seriously in awe that people still use checks/money order for anything.

I don't get why a young guy would want to "get some" from a 42 yr. old "never was", who is holed up in a shack and barely even goes outside, and who might be a guy.  The one pic she has "allowed" us to see (if it's even real) is not flattering at all in my opinion, so tell me what the attraction is.

I dont disagree- She looks older than 42 in that pic.

But who the fuck is sending someone $600 for a prepaid subscription? If I spend $600 on anything it better be something tangible or cocaine or I expect to get laid. edit- Not by someone who looks like heater either... But we all have different standards.

Just saying...

Thats better than cocaine... Aliencon is a hell of a drug.

Plus Falkie is kinda hawt...maybe he'll like me?

Wow this is a shit show. Now Heather is getting a lawyer to attempt to keep the name lol? Wonderful reading, can't wait to see what happens next.

What a time to be alive. Two Midnight in the Desert’s, one Midnight in the Dessert, a law suit, threats, internet drama and BellGab users are voting for Dave Noorie to go into the Radio Hall of Fame.

What fucking madness is this.

Not sure how name copyright would work, but technically aren't the names below different? example:

MITD with HW
MITD with DS

What they are really fighting for would be the .com (which should be very easy to prove).  If (retarded) owned the .com, she would never have started artbelllegacy.com, correct?  That proves that KR owns the .com, in my opinion.

You could maybe get a group rate if you bought Kathy’s favorite mayo.

seems logical to me-

I was involved in a trademark dispute in the compute gaming industry and thats how it ended- By keeping the original name but with a ":" that added an additional sub-title.

Not sure the difference here.

TBH I'm on Heather side as far as what I believe should happen (fuck legalities, just as a human being) but I'm just enjoying the drama.

I started with an old heath kit crystal cw transmitter, a few crystals, and an old brass straight key somebody in my local ham club gave me so all I could do was code. I think it helped me get contacts because my voice hadn't changed yet.

Right you are, the test has always been multiple choice with a pool of questions and answers, all of which can be found in the various study manuals.

20 WPM is smoking, I never made it past 12... :(

The purpose seems to be to learn the theory but still be able too pass the exam on memorization.

And this is the same process one goes through to get an FM-grade broadcast ticket. For those they have actual prep schools that bring you up to speed on the maths of it all.

It is whatever is in her contract that she signed after Art quit.  Doesn’t get any plainer than that. You can speculate on what is copyright or trademark or servicemark but at the end of the day Keith has a signed document that stipulates what she agreed not to do.

I believe it also says she cannot host a show for two years but Keith has said if she just changes the name he won’t contest it.
