Her audience is comprised of older folk, who came up during the Ward and June generation. She has, it appears, a large number of silver haired couples who adore her. The wife, either barren, or suffering from empty nest syndrome, who needs to mother her, or live vicariously through her. The males of the group have other motives. They thinly disguise their lust with messages of support in a male libido sort of way, sneaking off to the bathroom, while the wife whimpers and fawns in front of their C.Crane radio, and yanks one off while drooling over the picture on his smartphone. The rest of the herd are merely there due to a lack of a life. That about sum it up?

I think not.  Those brought up during the Ward and June generation are in their late sixties.  Gray haired, yes, but I think that it is safe to say that they aren't all that interested in second generation podcasters that have come along after Art.  I know a lot of 'older' people and while only a few know of Art and George Noorey, I have yet to come across any (other than myself and several other BellGabbers) who have ever heard of Heather Wade.  I'd venture to say that Heather's core audience age hovers around late thirties to early forties.  I have nothing to back this theory up with of course, but I would like to give one example that deals with a certain YouTube star named Adam the Woo.  He goes around filming himself visiting places like Disneyland and film locations for movies like Back In Time.  Over the years he has accumulated thousands of subscribers and every once in awhile he plans a 'meet and greet' event.  Interesting to note, that when he holds the event, a good ninty percent of the attendies are around his age, 'fortyish.'

Just wanted to thank everyone who was watching and in the chat tonight, before I crash. Hope you all enjoyed hearing Dan Moldea as much as I did.

Goodnight, all.

And Hi Paul!

Please let us know when you upload it.  Would love to watch/listen while I have my coffee. :)

Thanks to Sean for posting my website link. All who commented on that show thanks. I am MIA for a bit longer. Out of state for a funeral until tonight. A lot of things went on in my real life this week hence my absence, unless I have a minute or two to read. Listening to DS and enjoying his shows.

PS. I did my own website using Wordpress. Took me a few hours and that is it. Also I took the header 16 mile picture myself. Stay cool bellgab.

Thanks it is my first death where I knew the person really well. We had lost touch but she introduced me to one of my best friends. She was 45. Died from complications with a bone diseaase and also what I suspect were issues from years of drinking and pills. So it’s been very emotional and weird and I still can’t believe she is gone. I live in Michigan and I am currently in Dayton until tonight when I head home.

I'm really sorry about your friend, PBS. :(

I'd imagine you're taking the 75 back up? Well, feel free to wave in my general direction as you head home. Have a safe trip.

I'm very sorry to hear about this.  I lost a good friend and co-worker about a year ago.  It is not as hard as an immediate family
member but it still sucks.  Hang in there and drive safe getting out of Ohio (bleech   ;)).

Yes. That would be correct. It was New Years Day several years ago.
Bells, I will wave and yes 75 until I get into the clusterfuck that is Michigan construction. Lol.
Spooky Tim thank you. Probably will listen to your show on my way home. Overall I am ok. Wish I would have talked to her before she passed. Was good seeing people I haven’t seen in over five years. I will be back down here at the end of the month to hang with my Ohio bestie for a full weekend. But I am now way more aware of my mortality and also how short life can be. It’s been an eye opening experience.

Ha! Thought so.  You can take the boy out of Detroit but you can't take the Detroit out of the boy!   16 used to be my old stomping grounds.

I completely understand your last statement.

Let's hope you don't have another encounter with death anytime soon.  I've had enough of it in the last ten years to last a lifetime.  And, yes, now I know I'm mortal.  I felt like I'd live forever before 2008.  My condolences and be safe going home.

I still remember all the entertainment the wild and wooly Dr. euGene Scott gave me.  Long after the debacle with the FCC over KDOC.  He ended up on what later became the International Channel.  The video above, he's clean shaven, at the time I think he was still grand poobah of the AofG Church or something like that.

He would send out booklets and I remember ordering one on the Great Pyramids.  I don't think I paid for it.  Church dollars at work, you know.

No finer oddball theater than Dr. Scott's many, many hats!

Still recall him glowering at the camera and barking out "get up, call in now" and then withholding his "teaching" until those lines lit up.

And all the "King's House"/suckers he played to.

And the thoroughbred horses, Tennessee Walkers, iirc?

But yeah his pyramid stuff was top flight Hoaxie grade infotainment...

Kindest regards and sympathy for your loss, 45 is way too young - drive safely and cherish her memory.

The least asking the hospital er to take a looksee...com'on man!!! She can't be this dopey, can she??

Apparently she can.

They have urgent care centers, at least get them X-ray'd...

I watched his crap back in the day on my C-band dish. I am an atheist, but must say I thoroughly enjoyed his theatrics. If ever there was a spokesman for atheism it was Dr. Scott. I use to call their 800 number and ask them to please page Dr. Madalyn Murray O'Hair even after she was dead. Most of the good hearted dull brained volunteers didn't know who I was talking about!

And now a few words from the Holy Mother of Atheism!

PBS,

May your friend's memories live longest with you.

Your presence was missed, seemed like ages, but such is BG, time and space are lost in thousands of pages.

New week, surely new drama to come...

Too funny!

I watched on a C band dish too, cannot recall the satellite now, the kooky secular show I loved was Shaun Kenny selling satellite dish LNBs and receiver descramblers from somewhere up in...Minnesota?

Boy, are they dolts...  His final wife (the current "Dr." Melissa Scott) is a verified, admitted ex-porn actress who used to "adultly entertain" the pastor with other naked ladies at his ranch.  Yet they let her tell them otherwise and she self-taught herself 20 languages!

He had lots of video, according to a former insider.

She's suing people for use of his materials even though he publicly stated it was in the public domain.

Man, he was a rabbit hole jumper.

While I don't dismiss a spiritual existence, the Christian Church is like the Muslim Church to me hateful, spiteful cores.
