Actually, there's no buzz.  It's fretless, so it's a nice warm thump sound..
I almost bought the five, but thought it'd be cool to run riffs I knew from playing six string.
Shoulda got the five though. I gotta cannabalize two sets of diff guage la bella bass string$.
But it's fun to play.
