I made the mistake of briefly checking in on HW's FB page just before shutting down for the night. Lasha is posting that as a mystic she works with the energy grid of the earth, there are energies called blue dragons, there are only 144 of them on the earth at a time, and she is one of them. Aside from which real witches understand the consequences of cheerfully discussing how powerful curses are, as I recall her doing on a show a while back. If you really espouse the principles she claims she does, she would know that a basic principle is that what you do comes back to you threefold. Would you seriously curse someone if you believed that? And get it back three times stronger? I think not... and telling her "fans" to bash a guest host openly on FB could be seen as an incitement to violence.. also not so great for her karma in that belief system. Just sayin'...

It's also known as the Rule of Three. Not all witches follow it. It didn't even really exist until Raymond Buckland and Monique Wilson presented it in their writings on Wicca during the middle of the 20th century. Before that, most practitioners of witchcraft and/or the occult followed the general rule of karma, if they followed any law of repercussion at all. And even then there was no real codified system.

A lot of witches, pagans, and occultists today view it as just another control measure put in place to keep people in line, much like you find in organized religion with the teachings of Hell and damnation, or in Eastern mysticism with the rule of Karma.
