I have looked into getting a LED full spectrum light and a grow tent. I also want to grow some veggies as well.
I think it would be very satisfying to grow your own so I can imagine the pride and subtle hesitation in consuming it once it is harvested.

I recall my grandmother in a hospital bed with cancer before they really had hospice.  The nurse would not give her more morphine because "she might get addicted and it wasn't good for her physical health."  Now, my grandfather was one of the softest spoken, most even tempered gentlemen you would ever meet... But I recall him lighting into that nurse like you wouldn't believe.

I'm happy that hospices and specially trained nurses and doctors are now the norm for end of life treatment...

That's something he wouldn't talk much about. Most likely a lot of them and a lot of lost brothers. He told me a story about a grenade that rolled down a hillside next to him and was lucky it was a dud or he would of been a goner.
