well since you ask.. I don't approve of pot except medicinal..it's a gateway drug

Oh I have no intention of using it. I don't have the desire to spend 5+ years wasting away in a Japanese jail.

i'm looking to move back to Japan soon... I get their aggressive stance on it, but after seeing how polluted their food supply is (HFCS, etc), they might change their tune after burger level chronic illness becomes mainstream.

I prefer a show on red wine. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer on Tuesday...dead on Sunday...

Oh Chefist. :( I’m so sorry for the loss of your Mom.
I don’t know if her going quickly was a blessing in disguise or having to watch someone you love go through surgeries, chemo, radiation or whatever torture they put you through to help you live.

A dear friend fought 5 years with colon cancer. They got the colon cancer issue under control then it metastasized went to her liver and she was done. Nothing more they could do.

I’ve always wondered if they’ll ever be a cure. Think about the money made with the whole process, maybe even population control.  Makes me wonder.
Hope I haven’t bummed you out...

jesus cheffy, condolences. i've seen people go quick within weeks of chemo, i'd likely eat pot all day.

If need be, I’d like to join you for lunch or dinner!  ;D

Her death was years ago?
This reminds me of The Andrea Doria episode of Seinfeld.

My sincere condolences....I was there with her, as my 7 siblings, as she passed...that's what I would want...I know it is painful for them, but I would have it no other way.

That kind of crap drives folks away. Its a fine line yes, but Liberace wont have much of a bellgsb if trolls like that take over.

That just reminded me of having a "conversation" with my wife. Dave just couldn't get her to stop.

One of my best girlfriends had cancer and serious complications after surgery. Marijuana was the only thing that helped her pain and nausea. Happily, she is doing great now. My condolences to those who have lost a parent. Always too soon
