BTW:  In a past life, I used to give music equipment away to up-and-comers along with existing stars.  With the exception of Prince (yes), the company had an ownership in perpetuity agreement.  The company could collect the instrument AT ANY TIME for ANY REASON.  These endorsers knew that they couldn't then turn and sell the stuff because we'd go after it and the artist.

I would presume, if not a "friend deal" it was an official endorsement deal.  Having Art Bell on your roster is sufficient to pay for it because of the name-dropping power.

One could only imagine  that the gear was taken May 15/16 (I didn't pay attention to the May 15 show, don't know if she fielded calls).  Could it be her fucked up attitude and her fucked up sycophants pissed Karen and Joe enough that they pulled the generous loan of the gear to a nobody who treats everybody not in lock-step with her greatness???

My speculation is along these lines. Art made Karen executor, to handle things on behalf of his wife and kids.
Being the practical gal that she is, Karen had any services connected with the show, that Art may have been paying for,

They don't want to be seen.  I idled in neutral late one night going down a slope on a hignway, to save gas.  I saw a sasquatch who looked like he was about to cross the two-lane highway.  He looked really startled to see me, then his face quickly turned to anger, as it was very clear he resented the situation, like he felt he would have retreated sooner if he had known i was coming.  I don't know why he didn't notice my lights, but i was behind him.  He retreated into woods and did not cross then.

The same night a guy called into the local radio station saying he saw one a few miles away a couple hours later.  The radio station refused to let us exchange numbers, not even cell numbers, even when i told them i had seen it too!  Pretty rotten of them.

Neutral shift to save gas. Ha. Done. Not sure if verify works, also recall someone claiming dangerous because, depending on power-train, could swerve you into othr lane once you engage?

For me the biggest problem with any of the cryptid stories is there should be some kind of minimum population of them to sustain the species.   Wouldn't expect just a handful of them scattered across thousands of miles (unless you go to the inter-dimensional route or such).

I'm very torn on it too. On the one hand, year after year passes without any kind of confirmation any of the cryptids. On the other hand, scientists do discover new species every year, though these days they tend not to be very large. But in a sense, undiscovered species are cryptids of sorts. But yeah, the rules of reproduction require a large enough breeding pool.

In the Big Thicket cypress swamps, I have seen an animal that was probably a great dane crossed with a Chow (Only because it was on 4 legs and trotting with another animal that you could tell was a regular sized dog)that if it stood on its back legs you would have swore it was a bigfoot. Hair was hanging off like it was shedding from mange and I was scared shitless when it was time to get out of my stand I didn’t wait for dark.   It had to be almost 4’ tall at the shoulders.
