Sounds reasonable enough, besides, I like the sound of the new guest much better.
Though- what could be more fun than "true crime" with a criminal that also involves forgery, mail fraud, the internet, and old horror movies?

So this guest had an entity that shot her up with a syringe, served her eggs and made her bed vibrate?

GET OUT OF HERE, LADY. That sounds better than most of the damn dates I've had lately.

Better than Strieber's experience - that is for sure

it took all those years, and all this drama to produce that post?  I would love to know what is on his mind...
Me too.  It makes no sense!  After all those years, it's baffling.

Correct...there is a whole legend that surrounds it...supposedly lived in a cave under the Mississippi River...and ate virgins....

...then starved to death?

I collect old guitars and I hate to see any reproduction parts on any of them. Some people CNC vintage guitar (solid) body shapes now with all appropriate holes etc, then put a real neck on it with an old serial plate.

Other than my belief that the Epiphone factory may have a role in the Chibsons, Gibson sends out pieces of crap for $4,000+ with fretwork and QC that is 1990s Mexican-grade "quality."  I love the scale of the Gibsons, can't afford my favorites (Hamer Standards - mine was Serial 0576 and was taken from me during the commission of a crime), so I consider a counterfeit to mod up and enjoy myself a 1/3-priced Epiphone.

I'd say putting truly old necks on new bodies is a rarity nowadays...  Out and out counterfeits are more and more commonplace.  Some of them hold up well.  The wood doesn't know where it's being cut.  CNC takes some of the sloppiness of Chinese workers out of the equation.

I wont spoil the drama of who it is,but in 30 minutes youll find out.
As for Heather, she had a very tough time after Art died. But  In retrospect, she should have welcomed a guest host until she was ready to return. I cant blame Keith at all for wanting to get the show back on the road.

Nope.  Most unsettling I've seen in a while.   :-\
Yeah, MV's scaled it back from the usual freak show circus a tad.

George did that pilot really fly into Area 52? Should he have stopped at Area 37 and stopped to see if the coast was clear before carrying on to the other areas? Apparently Area 99 produces a kill screen and only 3 people have ever done it, and only one of those people did it in front of a live audience.

Thanks for stopping in for this nerve busting event.  Reminds me of when you used to pop in at the old CoastRider days.  I was thinking about how we all used to change our avatars to phones on open lines night.  Reminded me of the old days.

Oh, and the name tag avatars, can't forget those.

I was seein a spirit image that was walkin thru a brick wall and he went all wonky. It looked lyke is orizontal old had gone all vertical n'oll.

I meen that's the cobbler tit, init.

Haggerd bootlegging Frankenstein posters and passing them off as vintage to unsuspecting bidders.

People used to do this with vinyl records. Glenn Danzig took a heavy hit in the late 1980s when hard to find Misfits 7"s started popping up all over the place. Glenn is still pissed off. Then fast forward 15 years and he is browsing Ebay when he sees some his legit vinyl with bids reaching 4 digits for very limited colored records that he poured himself in the early 1980s. He would have moved into Lucy's old house 20 years sooner if the market didn't become oversaturated with tons of fake.

I collect old guitars and I hate to see any reproduction parts on any of them. Some people CNC vintage guitar (solid) body shapes now with all appropriate holes etc, then put a real neck on it with an old serial plate.

One time I worked in a printing shop... I have worked in about 6-7 related shops in the past, but this one in particular where I worked at for a couple of years had a vinyl dept and also had several plotters for digital. They got this really high res scanner at one point and they were really proud of it and the first thing somebody did was scan some denomination of (dollar) bill. The machine was networked and it auto-dialed the local FBI office and they were at the shop within the hour.

I hate fake shit. I bought this knockoff Swiss backpack for $19.99 a couple weeks ago on my way home because it was an emergency. The first thing I did was stop at the dollar store and buy some black nail polish to paint over all the enameled "swiss" crosses on the zipper. Looks clean and tidy. Looks like a piece of shit 19.99 backpack still but doesn't look like it's trying to be a Swiss. I'm in between backpacks right now.

Forgery is bullshit. Counterfeit stuff is ugly and awful.
Can't find it but I recently saw some article that an art museum in France did an audit/inspection and something like 20% of the paintings of some certain artists were forgeries?

Keith definitely stood by Art for all these years and would jump in an instant to get things done. He really knows his stuff and I don't know if many people have thought about how hard Art's death has been on him. Then all this host crap had to creep up. The show had to go on....
I know you've come in and hosted during some critical life events! The Vaguely Loveables salute you!!

That's pretty much the way I see it as well.

I see the guest changed tonight.  It was a UFO guy earlier, now it's a paranormal dude.

Hell yes!!!!  Also Chesterfields!!
I listen to the old Dragnet shows in podcast form. Still fun. And they have the old commercials in them too.
Along with references to the NBC red and blue networks.
I enjoy the classic radio shows on SiriusXM when I'm on long road trips. The old Dragnet radio shows are a hoot, along with some of the commercials.
