I do not hate Heather Leona Wade.
I do not wish ill will upon her being.
I do not believe she injured Art's person, or that she's his secret lover or his love child.

I do not really give a shit whether or not she continues on hosting MITD.  Art won't be returning, so it's pointless to bother listening.

I hope that Heather is not wallowing in so much grief that she's to the point of self destruction.  I suppose (no, I guess I know) that were I her- someone who was taking over a program for a mentor and friend, and presumably not in this for fame and fortune- knowing that a whole thread in a forum was dedicated to basically trashing me as a person, I might be three sheets to the wind on a nightly basis.

It takes a strong person to go into show business. Be it radio, or film. We've seen time and time again that "the best of people" cannot handle the ride. Curt Cobain comes to mind.  You please some, but you will never please all. If you're someone who feels it's important to please everyone, you're in the wrong damn business.  All said and done, I wouldn't wish to be in Heather's shoes right now (no matter how much she's acted out since Art's death) for a single second.

1) I bet most of us sane people agree with you that we don't want her to suffer physical harm.
2) All of this would be settled respectfully if she acted as an adult, instead of otherwise.
3) One thing listeners hate is to be outright lied to.  She has done this over and over again on air.
4) She coddles to weak people, just look at the list of her main callers (cody from WI, paul and ella (good older folks but worship the ground she walks on), "Bear" punch my ticket, weird guy who sees black eyed children, she coddles to them, and fakes that she believes what they tell her.) There are a few good callers too.
5) HW was GIVEN all the tools to be good, believable, etc.  That could have been a curse.
6) The secretive game doesnt work anymore.  Maybe it did for ARt, but we still knew his past, his families, his body of work, etc.  Now I think we need more, and be able to know the host whom we are "expected" to listen to 20 hours a week.  HW lies about her past, why not just admit it, and say she learned from it?  Because she can't she "just can't".  That wont cut it.
7) HW charges MONEY for many of the listeners by way of SUBSCRIPTION.  Don't they have a right to complain if the product is bad or not as advertised?  I think they do.
HW claims to be a real witch, a REMOTE VIEWER, to have military connections, have had a near death experience, to have UFO sightings, etc etc.  Do any of you really believe all that?
9) HW pretends to "take on all comers" on various subjects from Alex Jones to Scientology, to Sandy Hook, to 911, to JFK, etc. etc.  She doesnt really have the balls to take on any of it and try to proove or disproove her theories.
10) I could go on and on but, it would take to long.

I think the show should end.  Get a new person (give anybody a shot).  But pick a host or two that is the opposite of her.  I would be all for dividing the show into 2 time slots (2 hours each).  Also, get right to the guests, there is no need to hear the host read stories for half an hour.  It's a waste of time, esp. if the new shows are 2 hours.

oh, i know. i didn't say she was sane, and i still totally buy that she's a narcissist. i also believe that "God doesn't help anybody who doesn't help themselves".  So, regardless of whether one believes in God or not, the point is still valid. I don't see her helping herself at all in this situation.  She should have kept her mouth shut, or her typing fingers tied together.  She had no business attacking people like George Noory or George Knapp.  Totally uncalled for. And I think it's utterly shameful to not ONCE mention her sympathies for Airyn, Asia and Alex, while going on and on about how sad SHE is, and how devastating the loss is.

I wouldn't say I feel sorry for Heather. I would just like to point out that while I certainly believe I could have handled myself a LOT better than she has, anyone on radio potentially puts themselves in this position, and I don't envy it.

To 9)... Or maybe it's not balls but brains. Not trying to be mean (this time). But most of those topics are deep and expansive. John B covers them but he claims to have an exceptionally high IQ. Clyde covers some. But I wouldn't want another John B or Clyde. We have them. They do their thing. But just another open minded person with guts and brains who won't generally shut others down. i didn't get to hear any of the radio show with Karen. did someone actually mention that? a caller? jeez.  someone said they heard from "credible sources" and about a note, but i thought that was just someone posting this in here. 

it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things (IMO) if he took his own life or not. i think it would be understandable if he did, and shouldn't affect anything related to heather. in fact, it proves he wasn't holding on for her sake.  :  lol   we'd still be feeling bad for his wife and kids.

On that subject:  Her "vulture" comment is an odd thing to call someone who simply posts news of a friend's death.  I originally interpreted it that way, but it makes a lot more sense if Knapp was there sniffing around and asking questions about the toxicology report.  Heather's posture is then one of protecting the family from Knapp (who is just doing his job).  Apologies to those who saw this already; I am slow.

I think that most of us would feel the same way.  It takes a lot for me to wish somebody ill (I think I said that the world would be better if mumblegums were not on the air due to the shows on quackery, cancer cures and his gullible audience.)  Even then, it does not need to be death- just something to shut him up.

As to Heather- I hope she finds an audience and can do what she wants.  I'm just not a part of that group that will be listening.  She has made some rally terrible choices- and the rule that holds true for everybody in this life is that there are consequences to actions or inaction.  I still hope that she is OK and able to pull herself out of the depression that she is inflicting on herself when her employer of three years died.  As for the rest of it- most of it is people trolling or having fun.  I doubt that many people believe that she and Art were screwing (I would think one young wife would be enough when you are in your seventh decade.) 

The forum is not dedicated to hating her- it is dedicated to discussing how much George Noorie sucks.  And he grabbed a phone on a number of occasions, dialed into the gabcast and proved that he was human (he still gets points for that to this day, if you ask me.)

This is like some new thing. The bondage / choke me thing is big in the lesbian community right now. I was attempting to date again until I realized that I was too normal for the type of sex going on currently in the community.
