good night everyone.
Yeah, right. You'll be bashing trash cans and making us run, or post on BG, soon.m.

Thanks, Keith. Good call on not taking calls. Very meaningful.

Man..... Thanks Keith. Thanks Art.
Goodnight America!

Hells Mole

Even though there were no guests, no interviews, no talking except for Keith's perfect footnote at the end, that felt like more of a real memorial to Art than anything else I've heard so far.  I'm truly touched by those three hours of music.  All of us who listened to Art's shows spent a good deal of time listening to those songs.  Almost as much as his voice.

“Thanks for the ride Art”.

😢 I think Art would appreciate this more than the Coast tribute. And more than one from Heather.

True in retrospect. That can be saved for Monday. Tonight was supposed to be reverent.

I agree, and really enjoyed the music tonight.  As we found out during the run up to one of the shows, the bumpers really meant a lot to Art.  Thanks Keith

"Baker Street" always did it for me..... How come it's not on the list?  What the hell, it got played....

But what a great tribute show.  Thanks Keith.  Ending it with Inca Dance was PERFECT.  Thanks for the ride Art.  This one was for the books...

Thanks - I was on the verge of it exactly when this thread fizzled out.. but given recent events (and let's face it, Heather's Area 51 gambit actually reignited this thread right before Art's passing - whether to be held to ridicule or not (mostly not not) I found myself inextricably drawn back in.

Thanks a lot flying robot. Great to have that tribute. Will probably bring a tear or two.

Hells Mole

Even though he just did alphabetical order it's pretty strange that "Take My Breath Away" was followed by "Don't Fear the Reaper" and then "Hooked on a Feeling".  COPD, death, addiction.

Sure thing. It did here.. Thanks to Keith too, for delivering a Keith-appropriate tribute.  It did bring a lot of people together here and elsewhere, remembering Art through the music that reflected his personality so well.. but .. no ABBA? :)

Well, if you can't be bothered to read 4-5 pages because ur 2 busy. Then it stands to reason ur to busy, and you have more important things to do in life. Our time is just as important as others. Yet most of us have the courtesy to spend the minimum effort it takes to at least know the players in this saga, before asking questions.

It seems to be a few people who repeatedly ask for a condensed rehash of events. Which they could easily have read/skimmed at any time because its text, and not a fleeting medium like audio, video, or chat. Making others waste time repeating whats already been put forth in text. Basically implying their time is more important than others who use the forum.

Who is Lasha aka RoseGirl has been asked multiple times during 2 weeks and its been answered multiple times. Two weeks into this drama and people don't even know the basic players yet? Whats the point of even being here? They are ether to busy, stupid, or lazy to inform themselves. Art Bell aka AB, Keith Rowland aka Queef, Keef, KR; or Heather Wade aka Witch, Heath, HW; or Lasha, aka RoseGirl, Psycho...

Admittedly this thread is on fire and hard to keep up with, and many people have been kind enough to give currently known breakdowns. People would know that if they bothered to skim the thread, which it's apparent they didn't. Nothing is being withheld it's all here to read. Whats not happening is shit being condensed and re-posted ad nauseam. It's a simple courtesy, so as not to bore those of us who made time in our busy lives to read and follow this drama as it unfolds.

Plus the "people who are here all the time and know everything, but won't tell" are tired of repeating themselves. Because repeating yourself ad nauseam doesn't make for merriment. Inevitably once the repeated breakdown is given it always leads to a circle of speculation & questions, that have already been discussed and answered previously. It's like dealing with someone who has dementia, and everything has to be repeated a dozen times, only to have to be repeated again. And little progress is made. Feelings of futilely ensues... participation languishes. All to placate the important & lazy among us who vanish just as quickly as they appeared.

Do you walk into a movie theater late and demand they rewind the film, or rehash the plot so ur up to speed? No? The reason you don't is because it's rude. All the juicy speculations, deetz known are within this thread, to be gleaned. You only have to click and skim/read. If that is to much a burden to ask of someone... Just think how much of a burden it is on everyone else to have it repeated again and again.

I appreciate your perspective. My intent was to bring Bateman up to speed on what he'd missed. I respectfully disagree with you on a few of your points, but I'm all for simple courtesy and not making the thread a bore. Thank you for clearing up what you have.
