Did he offer you a beer?  Did you offer him any, um, consumables?

Uhm no and no.

Glad you're enjoying it. My opinion is not to dissuade others enjoyment of the songs. Have a blast  :)

Just saying Keith put together a half-assed tribute to Art tonight. Instead of even going on the mic (he may since I stopped listening an hour ago) he just hit play.
A monkey with half a hemisphere of brain matter could have got a list of Art Bell bumper music, even easier for Keith since he no doubt had all the tunes at his finger tips, and arranged them alphabetically and hit the play button  ;D

I understand.  No worries :)  I hope to hear Keith do some talking in the near future, and will admit, I had hoped to hear him tonight as well, but for now, I think I am enjoying this better than I would have enjoyed what I was hoping for.

Love this piece by Tito and the Tarantulas!

It was really something.

What an awesome memory Aldous! Had to feel surreal at first.

I don’t know if there’s much more to say about the day you spent with Art, if there are then maybe next GabCast?

Huminahuminahuminahumina!!

Sean92008

I hope that these are the songs being retired...  Never to bump again...

There's no way he's touching ABBA, Flirtations...  No time.

I remember being in Art's studio and his showing me his list of 126 songs and how he punched them up and the really nice studio speakers he used.

Very cool.

After Dark was from Dusk til Dawn, Rich Rodriguez and Tarantino.

Morgus

Only time left for maybe 3 more if he stops at midnight PT

comaphobe

this sounds like a song for auto trader

Morgus

Keith ending with special stuff made for Art Bell?

Hells Mole

Ballad of the Greys by The Dana Ray Band.  I found this CD at a used record shop in the early 2000's, autographed and numbered in silver felt pen.  The album notes make me sad.  I hope he sold a lot of CD's from Art Bell playing that song.

Didn’ t. ZZ Top write some sort of tribute song to Art? Or, am I completely delusional?  :o

Like that song Noory plays.

Here's the end. No ABBA? WTF??

WOTR

I have to assume this is it for the night.  Could not end any other way.  I don't recall him playing that great song that Crystal Gayle had written for Heather.  Kind of a shame.

Morgus

I remember when Art played this live, he would respond "No"

comaphobe

god dammit i cannot find this 45 i just had it yesterday

ZZ Top used some Art Bell Clips in one of their songs I think.

Morgus

Sounds like the Classic Cusco Inca Dance used to close the show back in the 90s.
