It is great music, but any one of us could have put together this musical tribute tonight.

What could have differentiated our tributes of Art's bumper music from tonight's is Keith chiming in with perhaps small anecdotes about some of the music that Art played.
Or Keith could have spoke on the air and said a few words about Art. Forget the phone calls even. I could see how that could become a disaster. Just talk about Art for a minute or two.

Nope.

The thing is, nobody did.  Keith did.

Nice that Keith is tweeting out the songs. We can make our own playlist later.  Brilliant.

That are automatic tweets ;D
Nice list to go by though nonetheless.

I have The Chase as a 7" laying around here somewhere. Maybe I can find it and take a pic.

Same thoughts TL! I could see her greeting him with that sweet smile of hers. Ramona Bell was amazing.

She was always the power behind the throne. I don't think broadcasting was the same for Art without Ramona

I remember being in Art's studio and his showing me his list of 126 songs and how he punched them up and the really nice studio speakers he used.

Glad you're enjoying it. My opinion is not to dissuade others enjoyment of the songs. Have a blast  :)

Just saying Keith put together a half-assed tribute to Art tonight. Instead of even going on the mic (he may since I stopped listening an hour ago) he just hit play.
A monkey with half a hemisphere of brain matter could have got a list of Art Bell bumper music, even easier for Keith since he no doubt had all the tunes at his finger tips, and arranged them alphabetically and hit the play button  ;D

Was there some significance to 126? Don't make me call Noory's numbers lady. And why does my phone autocomplete "Noory" as "Booty"?

I also like the '...we mailed you things.'  I'm afraid to find out what those things are.  Maybe they were just checks, like for falkie.

OK, thanks. I thought I recognized it outside of being Art's theme music.

I don't know. But that's the number I remember him saying, and he showed me the numbered list. Damn, I got pics but I don't think of the list.

She often spoke on the air about receiving packages from them but I don’t think she mentioned what they sent except a few times.

Did he offer you a beer?  Did you offer him any, um, consumables?

I'm out. Stream over or failed on my phone. Might go to sleep rewatching "Witchboard" in honor of Art. Cleaning up n archiving HD earlier saw I had a copy.
