I've never listened to MITD, should really try and find the shows Art did and give them a listen, last heard Art on Dark Matter years back, ended up unfollowing him online because of his ass licking of the Donald. Sad to hear of his passing. He was a big part of my life for many years, sending me to sleep most nights whilst listening to shows he did in the 90s (not in a diazepam kinda way). The only current C2C shows I ever listen to now are when Linda Moulton Howe is on with Snoory. Or the Knapp occasionally. When they're not on it's still classic C2C for me.

Thanks for the week-long "ride" you've all given me catching up on all the gossip rumours details in this thread!  Don't know half the people you all bang on about but it's still a very entertaining read!

Clearly the whole Heather/Rosegirl exchange was a scam, right? How did they go from that to this? I mean, it's seriously deranged.

I bet her dying with an asthma attack was unpleasant.

Could you imagine? Not only for her, which would have been horrible.. but for him, to wake up and find her dead.  Part of why he was suicidal might have been the thought that he could have helped her. If only he'd heard her or got up to pee in the middle of the night, or who knows.. if he could have gotten her to the ER on time. I'd feel pretty guilty.

Tim has been around forever. Might be a good fit for MITD but given that I like his show now I feel the need to warn him about the level of batshit crazy on that network. But perhaps if the lead bat is gone he maybe safe. Spooky Southcoast is great paranormal radio. I do wonder though if Heather and her band of merry idiots won’t harass him for a bit.

All I have to say though is that after watching all this drama unfold, anyone wanting to willing put themselves in the middle of it is crazy.

At this point, I would be somewhat content with almost anyone that doesn't spend half their time on the air giggling or laughing.

Keith has a nice voice, and a nice way about him when he wants to.  I think he could do it himself if he wanted to.

Also, sorry to say this, but I don't think a strictly paranormal show is going to make it big time these days.  Paranormal hit its peak in the 90's I think, except for a small number of paranormal groupies.   I could be wrong.

True, though If you're "Dark Matter Radio", it may kind of limit what your flagship show content should be. UFOS/aliens, cryptology, ghosts, exorcism, etc..   What do you think would be a good fit?  Maybe missing persons/cold cases?  Dark history? (like, way back history).  Personally, I did not care for the shows Heather was putting on.  Forget her voice (which I didn't like), I thought her topics were boring compared to the stuff Art was putting on.
